As Nicholas heard footsteps, he turned around to scan Persie, who was wearing a pair of beige jodhpurs and a black cotton shirt, with his hair tied in a half ponytail.
Persie also had tall leather boots that came up to his knees. Nicholas couldn't help but think he looked delicious. He smiled at him, and Persie smiled back.
Nicholas gazed at Persie's neck, wrapped his hand on his nape, and pulled him closer. Persie blinked at the familiar act.
Nicholas caressed the hickey on Persie's neck with the other hand and met his eyes.
"Did you have fun last night?" he asked.
Persie blushed, knowing he had a hickey, but decided not to cover it up with makeup to anger Luke and Evander.
It seemed like he was the petty type when bad people were involved. Persie felt unsure of how to respond, so he nodded.
Nicholas narrowed his eyes, and Persie felt that he was angry. He knew he hadn't imagined it; Nicholas wasn't indifferent to him.
