บท 103: Appeased in a moment

Seymour kept walking back and forth in the living room while waiting for his daughter to return. The King's declaration had come as more than a shock and he could not bring himself to accept it. His emotions and thoughts are all over the place and he was utterly confused. 

"How did this happen? How did Sylvaine become the Queen of Rothnia all of a sudden?" Seymour was still in denial and shook his head while Damen just looked on. 

Just like Seymour, he too was in shock but it was for a different reason altogether. Unlike the people of Rothnia who did not know who their Queen would be, Irene showed a completely different reaction. It was as if she knew this would happen, that the King would choose her as his Queen. 

Damen's brows furrowed and his eyes narrowed, recalling how the King had addressed his new sister by her real name rather than the name she was known by in Rothnia.
