Stepping out of the room, Seraphina folded her arms and shook her head. It was becoming increasingly difficult to control her rage toward the man who she thought was her friend.

Stepping out of the shadows, Tristan stepped next to her and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

She glared at him, knowing he would probably ask questions, so she kept silent.

"It's alright to talk to me," Tristan whispered, hoping to ease her tension. "I'm here to protect you. If you want to talk, then let me know. We'll figure something out."

She glanced up at him briefly and nodded.

"I found a crucial clue that could be of help to our cause," she muttered softly, looking over at Michael's room.

Tristan followed her gaze.

"What did you learn?" he asked carefully.
