The grand garden of the Aurelian Palace sprawled under the afternoon sun, a dizzying cascade of color and nature's handiwork.

Majestic trees framed the area, their canopies speckled with blossoms and vibrant foliage. Marble statues adorned the landscape, resembling gods and mythical creatures of old.

Bright peacocks strutted around the garden, their fan-shaped tails spread in a colorful display of opulence.

Breathtaking as it was, the garden's beauty paled in comparison to the three women gathered in the heart of it. Mirabella, the Mistress of the house, presided over the garden, perched on a metal chair. Its intricate framework is entwined with rose vines - each metal stalk ending in a carefully crafted rose, catching the sun's light with a metallic shimmer.

The chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, and the sound of water from the marble fountain all formed a natural symphony, but the melody seemed to elude her.
