David's second flight was perhaps more fascinating to him than the first. They flew in a slightly smaller plane, and over mountain peaks, so the views during ascent and descent were breathtaking. So David couldn't believe how beautiful they were. It was as if he suddenly found himself in some amazing fairy tale.
And then came another incredible excitement. To get to the islands, they changed to a ship. A ferry actually. For David, however, it didn't matter what they were sailing on, but that they were sailing. He had never been at sea before, or even by the sea, and his heart was pounding with excitement. He had the feeling that a once-in-a-lifetime adventure full of salty breeze, the cries of seagulls and the sound of waves was opening up to him.
