"But... what do you mean?" asked David confused even more than a moment ago. After all, Olaf Meiden had just said that he accepted him as his son's boyfriend, and now he says something like this?

What is this actually about?

Olaf Meiden looked at him as if he wanted to evaluate him. As if he wanted to measure how much he could trust David and how much to tell him. As if he wanted to assess whether to keep him in the dark or, nevertheless, endow him with some shred of truth.

"They look good together," he explained. "Our families have never been consanguineous, and a marriage of our corporations would be perfect for both of them. You know, a typical marriage of convenience."
