The next day, knowing that Lux received a mission while gathering herbs in the Aspiration Plains, he decided to do the same mission.
Viel registered the quest with the Guild Receptionist and immediately headed to the Aspiration Plains through the Eastern Gate of Leaf Village.
After ten minutes of walking, he arrived on a wide open plain. As he gazed across the grasslands, he observed a multitude of monsters grazing alongside Dwarves who were preoccupied with fulfilling their own quests.
"Time to find the Toyama Herb." Viel said as he walked towards the Grassland Area.
Viel summoned Jör.
"Jör. Could you help me find something?"
"Hiss!" answered excitedly Jör.
"You should look after herbs similar to this one." explained Viel as he showed him a Toyama Herb.
Jör happily helped him search for the herbs. In no time they gathered most of it, but when Jör was delivering Viel the last one, a horned rabbit jumped with the intention of snatching the herb from Jör.
When the horned rabbit landed with an accomplished grin, it found out that he didn't snatch anything. Thanks to Jör intangibility, the horned rabbit just passed through him.
Taking advantage of the fact that the horned rabbit was confused, Viel summoned the throwing knives he got from Eriol's gacha, Zephyr Fangs. They were a set of 5 knives.
He threw two of them while activating its two abilities, Rapid Throw and Wind Blessing. The two knives flew through the air, leaving only a whistle sound.
"Eeeeek!" shouted the horned rabbit.
The knives hit its thigh and its ribs. Just what Viel wanted to prevent him from moving and incapacitate him.
As Viel wished for it, the two knives returned to him independently. He grabbed one of them and stabbed the rabbit in the neck, finally killing it.

He knew he must complete this quest ten times to get the best rewards possible, so he got ready and began the massacre. Also, he could store the horned rabbit's meat in his Storage Ring so it doesn't spoil, and he could use the horns as crafting materials. From his perspective, he doesn't have anything to lose, only to win.
….
After a few hours of searching and killing horned rabbits with the help of Ferto and Jör, he finally managed to finish the ten quests.

'Well, time to go back.' Viel thought after looking at the sun that was about to set on the horizon. He was tired and wanted to relax.

"Everything seems to be in order." the guild receptionist said with a trace of surprise. "Have you handled herbs before?"
"Yes." Viel replied. "In the past, I usually accompanied my grandma to go foraging and to get herbs for my sick little brother."
"Ah, I see why the herbs look so fresh! It's because you gathered them properly, unlike most beginners who pull them up by the roots, damaging and reducing the quality of the herbs."
The receptionist smiled and handed Viel the reward money for completing his mission.
After checking the reward, Viel found out that he got more than the quest had been commissioned for.
"Sorry. I think you have made a mistake. The reward should only be 7 cooper coins and you give me 10." Viel said as he tried to return the three coins that had been overpaid to him, but the guild receptionist only shook her head.
"Those who commissioned the herb gathering quest explicitly told us to add three more copper coins if the herbs that were handed into our care were in excellent condition." the receptionist explained.
"Ahh, I understand. May I make an inquiry?" Viel asked
"Of course, no problem at all. What is it?"
"I have slain a lot of horned rabbits and would like to know if you buy monster corpses."
"We do. Depending on the quality of the corpse we will buy one horned rabbit for one copper coin." the receptionist replied. "But, if the corpse is damaged then the price is halved."
Viel nodded his head and took fifty horned rabbit corpses out of his Storage Ring at the dismantling area of the Adventurer's Guild.
The receptionist was taken aback, she didn't expect him to pull out so many corpses. As she inspected one of the horned rabbits, she noticed that most of them seemed to have been killed with clean cuts and stabs.
"As the quality of the corpses is perfect and they didn't receive much damage, the price won't be lowered." the guild receptionist said. "We will pay fifty copper coins for these fifty horned rabbits. Will that be fine with you?"
Viel nodded. "Yes."
After earning an additional fifteen copper coins, Viel returned to his inn to rest for the night.
'Tomorrow the Monster Outbreak should happen. I must wake up early to be with Lux.'
