Lord Magnus watched as Aamon paid his respects and left the room. After a few moments, he turned to the window and spoke softly, as if addressing the thin air. "It seems you really were correct, Samiel." A chuckle escaped his lips.

Slowly, Samiel's figure materialized from the thin air, a small smile playing on his face. "Did you doubt me, Grandfather?" he asked, his tone light but with a hint of seriousness.

Lord Magnus shook his head, amusement twinkling in his eyes. "Not entirely, but it's always best to see with one's own eyes. Your friend's dedication and sincerity were evident. I must also admit, that his proposal was intriguing. I would have agreed right away if I didn't know your Talent was already upgraded."
