Aiden, standing on the stage with growing unease, felt the weight of the audience's gaze. The World Crystal, typically responsive to the touch of an Awakener, remained unyielding, shrouded in an unusual silence.

Professor Aric, observing the perplexing situation, furrowed his brows. He exchanged a quick glance with the other instructors, silently communicating the shared concern. The normally smooth and orchestrated Awakening Ceremony had encountered an unexpected anomaly.

"Is something wrong?" Aiden finally spoke, his voice carrying a mix of confusion and frustration. He withdrew his hands from the World Crystal as if questioning whether he had missed a crucial step. 

The announcer, attempting to maintain composure, spoke up, "We seem to be experiencing some errors. Please be patient as we address the issue."

After some time. 

"Can you touch the World Crystal again?"

"Hm.." Aiden nodded his head nervously and placed his hands on the crystal.
