บท 17: Mariner Is Back
Seeing the arrows coming towards them with pointed arrowhead now exposed, the archers and soldiers began to hide but those who couldn't hide got pierced by the arrows straight in their heads.
This sudden and unexpected attack from the monster created an environment of fear and shock among the soldiers and citizens of Agrabah.
The monster who for quite a sometime was not moving a single strand of hair from his body suddenly created a shockwave attack which killed many soldiers of Agrabah.
Soon the monster began to slap the ground which began to tremble the ground in a form similar to an earthquake.
With the violent shaking of the ground, all the soldiers who were on the horse or on foot fall on the ground and soon this trembling begin to knock the foundation of the houses of Agrabah which in turn begin to create cracks on the houses.
Fearing their lives, the citizens began to ran out of their houses to save their lives but this decision soon turned into an nightmare for them as they all soon faced the monster in front of them.
"Rooarrrrrr...."
Seeing the citizens, the monster roared very loudly which made many people to shit in their pants and all of these things soon began to drown the morales of the soldiers.
The monster moved his big hand towards the citizens and then he take a hold of many citizens in that big hand of his in one scoop and then he opened his mouth and moved his hand above his mouth and then released those people into his mouth and ate them alive.
"Chewing... crushing of bones... spattered bloods..."
"Aaahhhhhh.... aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh... aaahhhhh..."
The sound of raw bones being crushed coupled with the chewing and spattered blood of the citizens and on top of them the horrifying and soul wrenching loud shouting of those citizens are being eaten alive has shocked and broke down the soldiers completely.
Along with the soldiers, the other remaining citizens and General Hamid also got included in this break down as they saw that horror of their own people being being eaten alive.
It's not like the soldiers haven't seen deaths in the battlefield, facing deaths bravely is what they learn for being a soldier. But this time the deaths the soldiers are seeing is just too cruel for them to handle.
This cruelty of deaths made the soldiers to kneel on the ground dropping their weapons with complete discouraged.
Princess Jasmine saw this condition of her soldiers and citizens which made her filled her heart with pain as well.
But she then remembered the teaching of her father who had always told her that, "My Dear Daughter always remember that a Ruler has many responsibilities on his or her shoulders. A Ruler is someone who in any situation is required to be strong and composed. He or She can never show his weakness as it will make the citizens feel unsafe. A Ruler must fight with any kind of adverse situation without thinking about his or her life cause the safety and wellness of the citizen should always be the first priority for a Ruler."
So remembering these words of her father, Princess Jasmine tightened his grip around her sword and then strengthening her will and determination Princess Jasmine began to walk towards the monster.
After walking for few steps, Princess Jasmine began to slowly and then with a faster speed began to dash towards the monster.
"Here comes the main character. Time has come to make an entrance."
The monster looked at the tiny woman running towards her with a very tiny sword with her hand to attack him.
The monster then sat down on the ground and seeing this Princess Jasmine increased her speed and moved straight towards his leg area.
Soon she began to cut the leg area of the monster but her sword being very very tiny in comparison to the monster made it impossible to gave him any scratch.
But still Princess Jasmine didn't back down and continued to attack the monster with all of her might while the monster took yawn at that time.
After many attacks, Princess Jasmine began to worn out from tiredness and exhaustion as her hands began to slow down as well.
The way her sword at first attacked the monster has decreased and then at one final point her sword got dropped from her hands.
Even after her sword got away from her, she then began to use her fists and attacked on the monster with only her sheer will and effect.
"Time to show up."
Soon the monster shook it's head and after that he looked at the attacking Princess and then he lift his one hand and began to move it towards the Princess.
General Hamid who was watching his Princess relentlessly attacking the monster saw the incoming hand of the monster straight onto the Princess and seeing that he shouted, "Princess be careful. Look up."
Hearing the shouting of General Hamid, Princess Jasmine looked up and saw the incoming hand towards her.
And seeing that hand Princess Jasmine didn't gave up and just stood straight on the ground holding her head high.
General Hamid: "Princess please get away from there."
Princess Jasmine: "Even if I were to die here then I will have no regrets for it. After all my death will be a honored death for me as I will die fighting for my people and I will never back out when I am getting this type of honorable death."
Saying these words, Princess Jasmine looked at the incoming hand and when the hand was very close to her, she closed her eyes and then she felt a strong pain in her body.
Because at this moment the big hand of the monster hit Princess Jasmine hard and made her fly in the air straight into a high walls of a house.
Seeing the Princess getting about to hit the walls and getting killed, everyone became shocked and shouted loudly.
But just before hitting the walls, Princess Jasmine felt something caught her hand and she also felt being pulled towards something.
Soon she felt a male body holding her close to his body with a very strong hand holding her back to give her support.
The soldiers, people and General Hamid all saw that in the air a man appeared and caught the hand of Princess Jasmine and then pulled her into his own body and then holding her back they both descend onto the ground.
Touching the ground beneath her, Princess Jasmine opened her eyes and there she saw a tall and muscular man is holding her.
Seeing this she immediately got herself free from the hold of that man and then she immediately picked up a sword which a soldier had dropped earlier there and then she pointed that sword at that man and asked him,
Princess Jasmine: "Who are you ?"
Unknown Man: "What do you think who am I ?"
Princess Jasmine: "I think you are a wizard who might have some connection with that monster and wants to harm my Agrabah."
Saying these words Princess Jasmine put the sword closer to the neck of that man and seeing the sword, that man smiled a little and then he said,
Unknown Man: "My Dear Princess. I do have connections but not with that monster but with you and this beautiful city of Agrabah. My Dear Princess, I am someone whom you know. And it's just been more than three days since I had left this place and you all and had gone to my real world."
Now hearing these words, Princess Jasmine has started to guess the identity of this man standing before her, so she put down her sword and began to look at him with in a gaze to recognize this man.
And soon this man himself revealed his identity before her, "My Dear Princess. I am Mariner the Jinn, your friend. I am back. Mariner is back."
Hearing his identity, Princess Jasmine became very very happy as her friend has returned and she immediately hugged Mariner with a warm feeling of friendship and Mariner also hugged her back.
Princess Jasmine: "Are you really Mariner ?"
Mariner: "Yes My Dear Princess. I am indeed Mariner."
Princess Jasmine: "Then how did you become a human ?"
Mariner: "That is a story which I will tell you later as before that we have someone waiting for us."
Hearing these words, Princess Jasmine immediately understood that Mariner is talking about that monster. So both of them stopped their hug and turned towards the monster.
Soon looking at the monster Mariner said to her, "This is not a normal monster Princess Jasmine. This is a special monster who has been created by mutating an animal."
Princess Jasmine: "You mean to say that this monster was an animal before becoming like this ?"
Mariner: "Yes Princess. And the horrifying fact is that this mutation has been caused by using dark magic or black magic which is generally used to harm others."
