"You do not need to fret about such a trivial matter, Lady Alessandra; my maids will assist me." Elowen glanced behind, and Nadia, who was standing near the roses, stepped forward.

  "This way, please..." 

Nadia guided Elowen to the powder room, while Alessandra approached. 

"Your Highness, the princess..." Lucas chuckled as he pulled Alessandra into his arms, interrupting her.

  "I've always favored strong women with a fighting spirit, Alessandra, but there's a difference between a strong woman and a fool." 

Just as she was relaxing in his arms, thinking he was impressed by her actions, he pushed her away with force, causing her to lose her balance and stumble. His cold eyes, full of menace, stared at her as if she were something repulsive.
