How could Lennox let Lewis off easily after what he'd done to Adrienne? It took a lot of effort for Lennox not to destroy everything around him when he thought he was losing his wife. He could understand Adrienne's point about dropping the charges against her father, but Lennox could never forgive his father-in-law for hurting her. The pain he caused not only to Adrienne but also to their entire family was unforgivable; there were still nights Noah would wake up crying, calling out for his mother.

The scars left by Lewis's actions ran deep, and Lennox couldn't help but feel a burning anger whenever he thought about it. Despite Adrienne's plea for leniency, Lennox knew that justice needed to be served in some other way. He couldn't let Lewis get away with what he had done.
