บท 133: Cloak of Shadows, Part 2

It was a wonder how Grendel managed to move around yesterday despite this parasitic cloak writhing all over it. To be fair, the cloak may have been wrapped around Grendel's huge bulk, but it seemed much larger today. 

'Can't compare it to yesterday.'

With Grendel, Reddington, and now my strength being added to its black folds, the Cloak of Shadows was becoming one Hel of a monster on its own that I doubt it even still needed me as a host. 

'But maybe it'll die without one…?'

"Wisdom!" Liara yelled. 

Wielding her 'Ice Sword,' the she-elf deflected two more thick shadowy tendrils that were strong enough to withstand her hearthstone's fleeting light. 

"Didn't you say you had a plan?!" Liara snapped.
