Somewhere in the stands of the Maracana stadium…

3 distinguished individuals of Brazil sat among the excited fans.

"What an atmosphere…" President Manuel da Silva muttered.

"It's strange…" General Alberto Obrador added. "It's almost like the excitement that engulfed our soldiers after the galactic victory of Planet Eminim".

"Football can induce this much emotion?"

He squinted his eyes. "Or are they just fanatic? Or perhaps…, foolish?"

"I doubt". Alfredo Francisco finally spoke.

He inclined his head to look at these 2 individuals. "Neither of you have ever watched a full game of football, especially one of these stakes".

"Give it 20 minutes into the game and you will understand".

He looked back at the pitch. "Football is not like other sports…"

"It is an anomaly in the history of sports".

President Manuel da Silva went into deep thought. "Even if the game proves to be disappointing in the end, I won't complain".
