CHAPTER 44 Break Down

　　"What's the point of staying with you if you keep hurting me as you do? I don't want to do this anymore. I already set you free, when will you set me free?"

　　Kendra's POV 

　　The coldness grew from the inside out of my body. Because I was submerged in an icy cold lake, and because I consumed a lot of water, the doctor told me it would be natural to feel extremely cold for a few more hours. 

　　But two hours had passed since the incident, yet nothing changed. I felt colder and colder.

　　My whole body's shivering and I was damn worried about my little peanut. 

　　"Hang in there, bud. Mommy needs to warm up."

　　Unfortunately, even the heater wasn't enough to suffice the coldness here. So I called Aunt Chen and asked her to add more steam.

　　"Are you sure, Kendra? We are already sweating here," she confirmed. They seemed to be sweating but I felt extremely cold. 

　　"Y-yes, please." Even my speech was affected by the cold. I couldn't speak clearly as my lower lip shivered.
