บท 21: CHAPTER 21 Second Best

　　"I let myself believe how great a husband you were. Yet now I was cornered by the truth that I am always your second best. I never once tasted how to be your best option. Damn you!"

　　Kendra's POV 

　　"Father wants nothing but a great-grandson! So what's taking you so long?" she finally said it.

　　An announcement like that should be done in a rightful place, let alone, in a private space. So I felt embarrassed and my cheeks blushed. 

　　"It's been two years and I still haven't seen Kendra's stomach bulging. When are you going to put a seed on her, huh!" then she covered her mouth and acted surprised, "Oh no, don't tell me you are…" and deliberately hung whatever she was saying. 

　　I almost teared up because of her warm gesture. She was indeed like a real mother not only to Johann but to mine as well.
