In his entire life, William has been driven by a single purpose… find a fairy and reunite with his family. It does not matter if he wanted to be with them or not or know them. All he knew was he had to fulfill that purpose propelled into his head by Basker, his mentor. Basker never explained much about it… but he did mention all will be revealed when the prophecy is fulfilled.

And thus William spent 700 centuries searching for a fairy, whenever a piece of news came about a Fairy's birth he would descend to the Mortal Realm in search of them… but the time frame between the two realms lay different so it became an obstacle in his search because whenever he came to the Mortal Realm it was already too late… either dying of old age or used by a warlock for their selfish desires. It was always too late...
