บท 166: Chapter 166

 I found myself wallowing back into my naivety, going back into that bubble of fear that I once had when I newly got married to Dav. 

"I never asked that you become nice to me. I never asked to get married to you. I never asked for any of this." I refused to blurt out those words with tears. No! I wouldn't shed a tear for this. 

If this was Dav trying to show his true self, then I was okay with that. 

"But now that you are, you should always do as I say. I own you Eliza, you belong to me, not Seth. You should never listen to whatever he has said. Not now, not ever." 

He called me by my name!

Those words felt like a bolt of lightning piercing through me. How could Dav say such with a straight face? How could he say that to my face? 

What incurred my anger at that point was the fact that soon, he would come begging, asking that I forgive him even after damaging my heart.
