But our lovey-dovey moment was cut short by a loud sigh from Seth. Surely, he had tried to push all the attention toward him and he got what he wanted. 

With creased foreheads, we all looked at him, wondering what was wrong but instead of blurting out his reason for his sighing, Seth fixed his gaze on my hand which was on top of Dav's. It was at that moment I realized why he had acted in such a way.

"May I ask the reason for what you just did?" Dav decided to ask the question that j was sure that other vampires were dying to know.

"Nothing." As those words left his mouth, Seth drifted his gaze to me and then, back to Dav. Good Lord, his gaze was intense, and intimidating and sent a lot of messages which Dav didn't fail to notice. 

"Did my wife do anything to you?"
