บท 5: Chapter 5: Meditation
At a sandy beach, there stood a house.
From within came squeels and shouts of encouragement.
It has been 1 year since Weis was born, and right now he was taking his first steps in this new world.
"Come to mama and papa, Weis. Yes, that's it. One step at a time. Great job, baby. Two steps. Come to mama. 1 step. YES,", Sera was chearing, as she caught the toddler.
His Father was standing behind his mother with a proud look on his face, and a big smile on his lips.
"Steel did you see that. As expected of our son. He will be able to run in no time at all."
"Of course, as expected of my son. That must be the Giant in him.", nodded his father.
Weis at that moment knew what was going to happen. The demongod would decent. Right then the sun looked like it hid behind the clouds. Darkness grew out of the corners of the room and was trying to snuff out the light.
Weis was looking in awe at his mother, as her hair was starting to look like it was starting to float.
"Oh my. So it's all you then? REALLY?", said a sweet voice.
*Gulp*
Steel knew he messed up. He loved his wife. She was beautiful and strong. But this demon form. How does he manage to summon this dark god all the time?
With cold sweat running down his back, he turned slowly to his Demongod-wife.
"You know I was just joking honey. Weis is the best of us both. Also we can see he got more from you. He has your wonderful hair and beautiful skin, as well as your height.", flattered the muscled shrunk Giant, with a sweatdrop running on the left side of his face.
"Oh I know that. I just like to tease my giant husband.", giggled Sera with a smile.
The darkness retreated and the sun came out, and the world was again warm and vibrant.
"Huuuh. You know I get that you like to tease me but this is seriously bad for my heart, Sera."
As his parents were back to their normal bickering selves, Weis was inwardly shaking his head.
'When I can talk, I must give my father a crash-course on how to talk to your wife, and what not to say.'
Weis was observing his parents, looking at their eyes. Dad had blue eyes and mom green. He thought because his father always said he looked more like his mother, he expected to have green eyes.
But no. He had heterochromatic ones. Left eye green. Right eye blue. Coupled with his white skin and black hair, he looked adorable. In his opinion, he had gained the best of his parents. But what he still didn't understand was that his father should have been a marine. He said so on his first day in this world. But he was here everyday.
'Hm. Another thing to add to my qestions.', thought Weis.
He was brought out of his contemplation as his mother asked him about dinner.
"So Weis. Are you hungry after that workout?"
"Gah.", nodded Weis.
"Alright then. Steel look after Weis while I prepare dinner."
Sera handed Weis over to Steel and went to the kitchen.
"Huuuh. That was another demon attack. Weis, my son. You need to always stand your ground when talking to your women. Never back down.", said a father who sounded and looked domineering.
Weis just rolled his eyes at his Father.
"So Weis, want to see daddy turn bigger?"
"Gah", nodded one excited toddler.
"Alright. Sit here and watch the yard.", chuckeled his father
Steel walked out of the house into the yard, and turned back to Weis.
"Look Weis. Now I'm small buuuuT...", while he talked he startet to grow bigger. "NOW I'M BIGGER GEHEHEHEHE."
Weis looked on in fascination as his already big father with 9.2 feet or 280 cm , grew to an astonishing 111 feet or 33.8 m. The rumbling laugh, coupled with his bodybuilder physique and the big beard, made his father look like a Greek God straight out of a Fairytail back on Earth.
"Waagh. Gah. Daaa", rambled Weis in awe, as his father was shrinking back down to the 'small' 9 feet.
"Ok little one, let's go see if you mother has finished cooking dinner. Gehehe.", said his father as he picked up Weis and headed back into the house.
After a tasty dinner, Weis was brought to his room to sleep. There he began checking his List of questions.
He tried to learn to speak. Still unsuccsessful and he still didn't know the date.
He tried to organize his memories into important for the story and important for himself. Which was harder that it seems with your brain trying to erase the memories that were too many.
That was his theory, as to why he was forgetting things. His brain couldn't keep up with all the information. So he tried again and again to memorise as good as he could the story of One Piece.
He still didn't hear anything about Gold Roger, but that can wait until he can talk and maybe read.
As for Devilfruits it looks like the same as in the story, so for now that was the question wih the most progress.
Last but not least the meditation.
He tried every evening in bed for as long as he could concentrate, but still no luck talking with Terra. But even if he could not, the meditation sessions were helping him with the not forget part.
This evening was the same as others. He tried to keep an empty mind. Remembering all his time on Earth. Why he did what he did and why. And of course Terra. And the story of One Piece.
After one hour he still had no progress on Terra-Talking, hehehe, and he was getting tired.
He wondered before going to sleep, if he can really talk with Terra again or if this was just a sweet illusion his mind set as a goal for him.
'Oh well. Let's try again tomorrow. Good night, mom, dad, Terra.'
