That reminded Wolfe that they didn't have anything resembling a unified formal code for such interactions. He had checked in his records, and the Magi just let everyone do what they wanted. If it was customary at your home, or even if you just thought it would be cool, and it looked properly formal and polite, they didn't care.

It might cause some chaos with the staff, but they could sort that out later.
