In these few months that have passed, it seemed as if the crystal palace relented in doing anything concerning the case of Adrik and Narika. But it also took them by surprise the way the prophecy changed automatically, in just a day ruining their plan towards Adrik and Narika.

The prophecy and the seer was an independent body, that neither the crystal palace nor hell could control. All they had to do was to stay and ensure that the both parties don't do anything that aren't in accordance with what the Seer had said.
