A relieved sigh escaped Nina's lips, after seeing Adrik's body finally relax after taking five shots of the drugs that would kill a normal human body, if they took more than two dosages.

But Adrik's strong cell was fighting against the drug, which had left her with no option than to inject him with the drugs until he finally fell asleep. But yet, she still didn't have any answer as to if he's going to be asleep for a long time or if the drug would wear out soon.

But seeing as he was in a deep slumber, it gave her hope that the drugs were kicking in, whereas it was obvious to not just her, but Lucifer who chose to ignore Azazel's suggestion to get Narika here, seeing his mate would help calm him down from destroying his palace.

He chose not to listen to anyone's idea but his own, which was keeping Narika away from him until Baram takes full control of her body.
