บท 14: Chapter Fourteen:Finally, I Found You.

Something was wrong!

Adrik knew that, while he roamed the busy nights of Suncity lost in thoughts. His whole mind was occured with nothing, but the thoughts of her, Narika Singh.

He didn't want to admit it, but he knew that back there at her house. All he wanted was for time to go slow, while she slept in his arms.

But that's not possible, he's not human and his time here on earth is limited before he goes back to where he came from.

But he missed it, he missed everything. He missed what it felt like to be human, to be alive and to be on earth, without having to have your ass being controlled by the overlord of the underworld.

Which was another question entirely he needed an answer to, he didn't need anyone to tell him that if there's anyone that would want to mess with him, and try to exercise their power over him that it would have to be him.

The overlord.

He's thankful to him for giving him a home in the underworld, unlike the ghost who didn't get to cross over that roamed outside of his palace while begging for help.

But right now, all he wanted was to be his own free man. To make decisions on his own without having to take others from him, and other lord's out there that controlled their world.

His mother had done more than enough by burning expensive gifts to him, in which he had used to pay the overlord for his time he had taken care of him.

But as it stands now where the one reason why his powers didn't work on Adrian, and his father made him angry, and somewhat agitated against the overlord.

That he knew that there's nothing, thats going to stop him from meeting up with him once he's back, and demand an explanation.

Who knows?

The overlord might also be the one who's hiding Polina from him, afterall he didn't give him acesss to some certain part of their world he could have searched for her.

And now, he's restricted from hurting Alex Singh. That's something he wouldn't take calmly. He's the reason he's dead, and his revenge is all about him!

"Wow! I didn't figure you to be quite the romantic," Tagons excited voice broke through his wave of thoughts, before he noticed the presence of his friend beside him.

Adrik didn't exactly understand what exactly he was hinting at, and raised his brows up at him in confusion.

"Oh! Come on bro, I saw the way you were acting all lovey dovey at her, you even tucked her in bed, man that's…"

"That's nothing Tagon" He cut into his statement, he knew what exactly Tagon was trying to hit at, but he couldn't let him finish the statement.

He didn't need anyone telling him what he knew was nothing but the truth, he was attracted to the girl, but he didn't want to believe it yet nor act upon that feeling.

Tagon didn't push further but stared at him, whereas he was thankful for that until he asked him," Why exactly would you need the tongue of a lizard for bro?"

Tagon asked raising the tongue of a lizard between the both of them, which made Adrik to pull back some distance between them, when his OCD started to act at the sight of that.

He glared at Tagon, who apologized immediately and withdrew that thing from his sight, "What exactly are you plans with her?"

Really?

Adrik mentally facepalmed himself, here he was thinking that he had dropped the topic about Narika. It won't be surprising, that Tagon might have something for the girl, but he knew better than to let him know if he had that sort of feelings for someone who belongs to him.

His brow fused in confusion when he realized what he just did, but he really didn't see anything wrong in claiming Narika as his. He had no feelings for her, and neither would he betray his love to Polina for someone else.

"Nothing of your concern, stay close" He rudely replied to him, before disappearing with him only to appear outside of Morgana's territory.

She had chanted some incantations, and pulled up some spells to keep him from entering, but this is where the tongue of the lizard became useful to him.

"I wouldn't really advise you to break in here Adrik, she's powerful" Tagon advised, while assessing their surroundings to notice the aura, that guided this place Adrik was trying to invade.

"Like i care," Adrik shrugged his shoulders, before muttering some spells. He gave a signal to Tagon after he was done, who placed the tongue of the lizard right on the ground.

Now with his eyes closed, he could sense from when the barrier started round the house to where it ended.

Tagon gave him some space, before he stood in a stance and before his eyes, he used his powers against the restriction against him.

Tagon watched Adrik fight against the force which was inside that house, but he didn't want to interfere. This was Adrik's fight, and he knew what exactly awaited him before he went to fight a B-level medium.

He watched the grimaced look on Adrik's face, before his right foot went forward to cross the restriction.

But before his eyes, he was flung back and fell against the floor. He stood up with all anger flowing in him.

"She's fighting you Adrik, what exactly do you want from her?" Tagon asked concernedly.

Adrik used his sharp visions, and saw the old woman seated around the circle in her room, while chanting loudly. Such a waste of effort to try to stop him from coming in, when she knew quite well that he was coming for her because of Narika.

She would help Narika to get rid of him, not forever. But she could give the girl some relief, and ward him off to stay away from her for a while, which he didn't find appealing.

Either way, she's going to hurt him. So, it's only right he gets rid of her before she tries to do so.

"Stay on the watch Tagon, she might try to run" This was all the malevolent male told the confused Tagon, who only heeded to his command and didn't made any attempt to stop him again.

Once again, he went on his position and formed a tight ring of protection over him and Tagon, before the unexpected attack that Morgana didn't see coming, that made her clash against the wall.

She was down, and weak.

A sinister grin lightened up his face, before he stretched forth his legs and walked over the restriction that was down.

He didn't waste anytime, and kicked the front door open to meet an empty room. He searched her place thoroughly, but didn't see any signs of the old lady.

But he knew that she was here, there's no way she could have escaped with the trail of blood, that was evident on the ground that showed that she's hurt.

Besides, Tagon could have alerted him if she went outside.

"You know it's useless to try and hide away from me, witch." He yelled, laughing hysterically while using his enhanced sight and followed the blood, to where it stopped.

He stopped right in front of another door, but instead of kicking it open and walking right through it just like he had done early.

He used his powers on the door, the moment it opened, holy water poured right on the ground.

Sly witch!

He cursed, only to hear a shuffle behind him but he was fast to turn, his elbow connected with Morgana's stomach as her wand fell, before he hoisted her up in the air, his eyes blazing blood red at the sight of the witch.

" Finally, I found you."
