บท 211: 211 - Lizards

Using his Demon Sight, Ryan could clearly see the flow of energy that was passing through the egg. Inside, the animal's mana was already clearly outlining its body. It was an adorable little bird of prey that was already moving around inside the shell; in a few days Ryan's new pet would be out of the shell.

'I still don't know what to do with it,' he thought.

<What do you mean?>

That was a slightly more complex question than it seemed. After all, he could very well keep the obsidian bird as a pet, but at the moment, that animal wouldn't be much help to Ryan. 

'My Demon Form can already fly fast enough to beat a monster of its kind as an adult. Besides, my mana doesn't run out as quickly as it used to, so maybe the best thing I can do is sell this pet,' he thought.

<No!> Nyx shouted, appearing in front of him with both arms outstretched. She was protecting Ryan's egg.

"Calm down! I haven't decided that yet!" he said, surprised.
