They all piled into the car, Allen riding shotgun as Alice took the wheel. She dropped Allen off at his apartment's entrance, and he hopped out, turning to them with a grateful smile. "Thanks again, you two. I really needed this."

Alice grinned. "No problem. We're just glad we could help take your mind off things."

"Yeah, don't hesitate to hit us up if you need us," Bella added with a playful wink.

With a wave and a final thank you, Allen entered his apartment. He spent the next hour jotting down his thoughts, wrapping up his writing for the day. After a while, he decided to call it quits, closing his laptop and letting out a content sigh. Even though his meeting with his mom didn't go exactly as he'd hoped, spending time with Bella and Alice had lifted his spirits more than he'd expected. Their positivity and light-hearted banter were exactly what he needed.
