Startled by the echo of Deanna's cries, Liliana abruptly turned around. Her ears also caught the sound of a slap before the cries. She almost took a step back as her eyes were met with the back view of a tall man.

Liliana quickly rushed beside him. She was still confused about what had just happened. Nancy also hurried to them. The customers and other staff kept their attention to the small group.

Deanna whined out loud while flapping her right hand. She glared at the man standing in front of him. Her face twisted in anger.

Pain flared out all over Deanna's hand. A deep shade of red mark tainted her fair skin.
