บท 457: Mom, I Know Everything

Liliana looked down at her clenched hands. She bit her lower lip hard, worry creasing her forehead. Her heartbeat was slightly erratic right now.

'Now. I need to talk to her now.'

Liliana moved her eyes away from her hands, subtly glancing at her back in the direction of the bed. Cassia was leaning on the reclined bed, enjoying the night view through the window glass.

Taking in a deep breath, Liliana stiffly turned her entire body to face her mother. Under her anxiousness, she forced some words out of her mouth.

"Mom, are you up... for a serious talk?"

Liliana's uncanny question caught Cassia's attention. Slowly moving her eyes to her daughter, she raised her brows.

"About... what?"

Cassia's voice was so low but, her words reached Liliana perfectly. She kept looking at her daughter who was standing not far from the bed. Her eyes caught the nervousness expressed in her little girl's face.
