After wiping his hands and arms dry, Lucas untied his apron and folded it nicely. He intended to wash it while showering. He had just finished making a new batch of cupcakes to be sold tomorrow.

Looking at the wall clock, Lucas was surprised to see it was already a quarter past eight. He didn't notice that he had spent hours inside the baking kitchen.

"Will Honeypuff sulk with me? I didn't bring her to the lake today," whispered Lucas. He was reminded of his tiny ginger kitten at home.

Lucas had been busy with his side job at the Palace of Golden Phoenix Hotel. The banquet would be held in four days. He had been coming and going from CafeOrama to the hotel.

Even though Ethan still worked here, Lucas didn't want to leave everything to the young man. After all, he was the main pastry chef of the cafe.
