But, before any of them raised questions, Butler Chang returned with a hot pot of tea and desserts. They refrained from talking when the man was serving them.

The few minutes felt undeniably long for them, especially Alexander. Once Butler Chang left, he was the first one to dispel the silence.

"Father, are you being serious here? This... this lady is... Aunt Luna's granddaughter?"

Jasmine and Hollie held their breath. Aidan's expression was tense while Leilani and Davin were a bit confused by what was happening.

None of them were interested in touching the refreshments served by Butler Chang earlier.

"Lili is Grandaunt Luna's granddaughter," Talia chimed in, answering on her grandfather's behalf. She kept her gaze straight on her father, "I found her, Dad. I brought Lili to meet Grandpa here."
