Asher and Audrey left Old Madam Shen's bedroom. He ordered one of the night maids to be on standby within close proximity. Then, the two siblings walked away from the area, heading in the direction of their rooms.

"Big Brother."

Asher gave Audrey a brief glance before he continued looking in front of him, "Do you have something to say about Elaine? She's your friend."

Asher noticed that Audrey didn't meddle at all when they were still in the Begonia Room. It seemed as if she kept her opinions all to herself.

As far as Asher remembered, Audrey was always a sensible girl. She never acted haughty with anyone, a stark contrast to their mother's personality.

In actuality, both of them didn't inherit their parents' bad habits, much to everyone's relief.

"She's my friend but, you're my brother. I can't forgive her for doing something like that to you," replied Audrey, her tone grave.
