"Third Young Miss, do you need more time?"

Miss Tang's inquiry pulled Talia out of her trance. Lifting up her chin, she stared back at her assistant.

Miss Tang was standing opposite Talia, separated by the work desk. The former's attention shifted from her employer to the white envelope lying in the middle of the desk.

A genetics institute's logo and name were printed on a corner of the envelope. 

Talia bit her lower lip, her eyes slightly narrowed. She couldn't help but feel uneasy at the sight of the white envelope.

An hour earlier, Miss Tang walked into Talia's office, bringing in the envelope. Inside it was the DNA test result requested by Talia last week.

Instead of using a courier service, Miss Tang personally went to the genetics institute to get the result. The envelope was sealed upon her receiving it.
