After so long, the rumors began to fade, much to Lucas' relief.

The students were bored because Lucas didn't give them much reaction. Lucas' winning in the first round of Dewsbury Bake-Off also helped to deter their attention away from the rumors.

Lucas and Ethan won against the opposing team, allowing them to enter the second round. The next round was scheduled for next week on Saturday.

"If he has a rich sugar mom, why does he still wear worn-out clothes?"

"He's a talent ah. The judges are never biased. Didn't you see how he worked well with that Zu lad?"

"Tsk, I think Ethan who carries their team. He doesn't work much."

"Nonsense. You can't fake being skillful when everyone's watching."

They were people who still doubt Lucas' skills in baking despite witnessing him in the first round. He paid them no heed. They could talk and craft any speculations all they wanted.
