บท 121: A Ridiculous Offer?

Mrs. Fu was caught off guard to see Liliana standing outside her old apartment. She recognized the young lady as her new customer.

"Mom... who's this?" asked Harris Fu, Mrs. Fu's only son right in front of Liliana's face.

"Harris! Come inside!" Mrs. Fu rushed to the door after shoving the clothes in her hands into a box. Staring at Liliana, she asked,  "M-miss! Why are you here? Do... do you need something?"

Getting swept up by shock was an understatement. Mrs. Fu couldn't believe her eyes but, the one standing at her door was indeed her new customer!

Liliana curled up her lips, smiling and bowing her head. She said politely, "Mrs. Fu, I'm sorry for showing up unannounced. May I come in? I have something to discuss with you."

"Oh... Have something to discuss with me?"

Mrs. Fu became more confused. She couldn't guess why did Liliana personally come here to meet her.
