"Why, Why did she stay? Emily, why didn't she walk away." Paige asked still in shock.
"You do not know my father Sunflower. If he want you to stay, then he'll make you. He was that evil. Emily really had no choice, she is an Orphan and he promised to make her disappear for real if she ever attempted running away. She was a hostage in the place she called home." He sighed. "Three years after my mother's death, Annabel was born. I fell in love with my baby sister from the very first day I set my eyes on her. She was adorable and I felt the need to protect her from the likes of my father. Anna was a strong kid. She grew so fast and I gave her all the love in me. I never knew I had so much love to give to anyone in my life." He chuckled.
Paige smiled at him. I'm glad the birth of your sister made you happy. "Hope your father turned a new live after seeing his daughter?" She asked.
Simon laughed sadly. "Of course not. Maurice kentley can never change for anyone my Darling." He replied patting her hand gently.
"But he did stop cheating right?" She asked again.
"He did that immediately they were joined in holy matrimony. He actually doesn't cheat on his wives. He respects his home. Being his wife makes you the centre of his attention. This might be good cause he'll have your time and will never look at any other woman. Sadly, this is bad as well because, you'll be getting beatings more often and of course you should be willing to satisfy him sexually whenever he wants. It doesn't matter what you want, his satisfaction comes first. Four years later and one miscarriage in between, she birthed June. The beatings still didn't stop. Business was so good during this period that he spends a whole lot of money on trivial things. His wife got a share of the money too as the cash kept going round to everyonoe satisfaction." He paused.
When I turned twenty two, I had an argument with my father about beating Emily. I remember telling him that Emily was human and she have endured for way too long. He didn't see reasons with me, Instead he walked out on me and left the house entirely. Out of anger, I broke the windscreen of one of his most expensive car while he was away. I had serious anger issues as a boy." He confessed with a smile.
"It's obvious. I mean, you struggle with your temper even now." Paige told him.
"But I've made great positive progress, haven't I?" Simon asked, yet to wipe out the grin on his face.
"And how can I know that if I don't know how bad your temper was as a boy?"
"Ahh, my temper, it was like a trembling building that keeps trying to collapse when the wind blows. It's ver......"
"Oh my god!!!" Paige interrupted him almost choking with laughter. Where the hell did you get such an explanation from?" Simon started laughing as well.
"I was just trying to make you understand how bad my it was." He explained.
"Seriously though, what did your father do to you when he got back?" She inquired.
"Nothing, he did nothing and that was because he didn't meet me at home. That same evening, Emily smuggled me out of the house. She contacted someone who picked me up and saw that I got to my Aunt Bridget's place at England safely. Anna was just twelve when I left the house and while I was away, I missed her terribly. England was lonely. Aunt Bridget was still mourning my mum. She had her pictures everywhere. She hated Emily so much initially, but she later came around after a while. Emily is a very nice person, I don't know what I would have done and who I would have been without her. She and Anna wrote me every week throughout my stay at England. Their letters brought me hope." He said with a distant smile. "Now, enough of the boring stories about me. I'm bored already, I can imagine how bored you are feeling right now." He said to her.
"What!" Paige exclaimed. "I'm not even bored one bit. I listened to every single word that you uttered. I felt the pain, joy, sadness and many more just by listening to what you were saying." She told her looking straight at him.
"And why is that?" Simon asked with a soft cracked voice.
"You said it before now, I care about you." She blurted out before she could change her mind." Slowly, she released her hold on his right hand and adjusted on her seat. Simon took hold of her two hands. He held on to her fingers gently staring at her.
"Thank you so much Sunflower. I'm glad our paths crossed." He told her genuinely and received a gentle nod and smile from her.
"Let's go swimming." Paige suggested, changing the topic and causing a break in their current mood. "What do you say Darling?" She asked him with a charming and sensual smile as she stood up from the seat.
"This is the second time you called me Darling. I seriously do not mind being called same henceforth." He said standing up as well.
"No, It doesn't work that way." She started. "You have to fully earn the name before It can be used exclusively for you." She told him. Simon laughed holding her gently by the shoulder and pulling her a tad close towards him.
"I'm forced to think that you're becoming a tease Sunflower. Should I walk in your footsteps then?" He intentionally asked and waited for her reply.
"Maybe you should recheck the meaning of a tease in your dictionary Mr. Simon Kentley." She said in a seductive voice while stepping closer to him. She stood few inches away from him. Her breath touching his face. Both of them stood staring at each other. Suddenly, she took a step backward and without warning, pulled her lacey knee length gown up above her shoulder revealing her well rounded and firm breast that was held in proper position by a black rayon bra with had a matching underpant.
On seeing the work of perfection in front of him, Simon swallowed hard. He stood rigid on the spot without a word. "Do you like what you see?" She asked him. "I'm trying to be a tease Simon, you called me one just few minutes ago. I need to live up to my new title. So tell me, do you like what you see?" She asked again.
"I love it, you are perfect." He replied still standing at the spot." He wanted to move over to her and grab her ass firmly but he was scared of his legs. Something told him that they won't be able to carry the weight of his body if he moved an inch from the spot. He couldn't keep his eyes off her body. Paige was perfection all round.
She dropped her gown on the chair. "Come along Darling, you're wasting the little time we have to explore the ocean." She told him and without warning left for the lake bank. The afternoon sun wasn't too much but she was grateful she applied sunscreen from home. She sat on the bank and appreciated the gift of life. She turned towards the house and saw Simon heading towards her in a swim pant only. From the distance, his bare chest was tempting already.
"Tease." He called as he walked up to her and without warning scooped her up in his arms and ran to the shallow part of the lake. The water level in this part stopped at their shoulders. Carefully, he dropped her into the water and started swimming round. "Tease, tease, tease!" He called again causing Paige to swim after her in a bid to catch up with him. Simon swarm as fast as he could dodging her grasp each time she seem to be close to catching him. Her laughter rang in his head as he smiled and laughed as well.
They played, swarm, danced and discussed a little about Simon's business. They had fun that they lost track of time.
"I'm so tired." Paige told him. "Let's rest a bit, can we?"
"Of course." He replied and without warning scooped her up on his shoulders a carried her out of the water. They headed back to the house. Stopping at the side lounge, he placed her on one of the lounge chairs and gave her a towel to dry her body.
"How do you feel?" He asked her.
"I feel okay, thank you so much." She replied grabbing the towel he was offering her. Simon took another dry towel placed on the second lounge chair and wiped his body clean of the excess water that was on him. He worked with gentle strokes taking his time to clean each spot. Paige's stare followed every single movement of his hands. She couldn't keep her eyes away from his thick thigh and legs neither. Not to forget his bare chest that looked totally inviting.
