I'll pay doctors and nurses to take care of her at home”
“But sir, it's not right and wise to get her discharged now.
She just had a surgery yesterday and her wound hasn't fully recovered so it's really dangerous to move her in that state” the doctor tried protesting but Fyneface glared at him.
“I give you just five minutes to do what I asked or I'll make sure you don't only get fired but this hospital will also shut down.
Who are you to tell me it's unwise? Didn't you know that you should teach your nurses that it's unwise to leave a patient alone” Fyneface said an the doctor gulped in fear knowing fully well that he was in deep trouble.
He quickly bowed and started to do the necessary procedure and the moment he finished, he handed the file to Fyneface.
“Sir It's done sir” the doctor said quietly and Fyneface collected the file and checked the identity card around the doctor's collar then he quickly memorized the doctor's name and turned to leave.
The doctor was already breathing peacefully seeing Fyneface was about to leave but when he suddenly turned around again the doctor's breathe ceased in fear.
“Expect a word from my lawyer today because you are going to pay a fine for interfering in my personal matter and letting that bitch escape” Fyneface muttered and the doctor fell down to his knees because whatever fine he has to pay will cost his entire life savings.
“Sir I only did that for you I didn't want you to kill someone” the doctor pleaded now sweating profusely.
“That's why you are a doctor. Even if I killed that bitch there's no need to send her to a hospital since we are already in one because you could have just packed her dead body and save me the stress of getting rid of it” Fyneface answered and left.
In any other situation, the doctor would have laughed at Fyneface answer but right now his concerns was his life and he might as well resign before the lawyer comes for him.
The doctor said panicking but Fyneface left his office
"I'm not a bad person but I only said what I said to scare the doctor and the fool totally believed me.
That serves him right because next time he won't behave so carelessly. Then as for that bitch called Erica, she is still going to pay for whatever she did to my wife hence she doesn't want to leave the country peacefully, I'll make her leave forcefully but that's after I teach her a very good lesson that she won't ever dare to come near kitty again" Fyneface said as he brought out his phone and called Paschal.
"Hello boss, how's madam doing?" That was the first thing he asked. Everyone including the servants loved Felicia so much because she's so lovable.
"She's getting better but I'm going to send a picture of a lady that tried to hurt your madam this moment" Fyneface said but Paschal didn't even let him finish as he interrupted him.
"Send it right away and I know what to do. I'll even do more than what you want me to do. How dare she try to hurt madam?" Paschal answered and Fyneface smiled.
"Just torture her but don't kill her" Fyneface said to Paschal.
"She will wish she was dead boss" Paschal said and Fyneface ended the call looking at his phone.
"What part of don't kill her doesn't he understand? Newstyle wondered shaking his head in an amused manner before calling Fiona.
“Cousin thank God you called. I feel like I'm going to send someone to keep cousin In-law Company in the hospital right now because I'm about to murder Newstyle” Fiona said angrily.
“Woah Woah calm down Fiona, What did he do?” Fyneface asked wondering what that brother of his has done this time.
“Cousin, Newstyle went to the mall and emptied an entire section of stuffed kitty dolls. He said he’ll take it to cousin in-law at the hospital and when she sees the dolls she'll get better” Fiona complained but Fyneface chuckled.
“I don't understand, what's wrong with that? He has a good intention in mind” Fyneface asked confused.
Nothing is wrong absolutely nothing is really wrong but he used my credit card” Fiona screaming that part loudly and Fyneface had to move the phone away from his ear.
“Newstyle is so dead this time because I know how obsessed Fiona is with shopping. A day doesn't pass by without her using that credit card for an online shopping” Fyneface muttered inwardly
“And what happened to his?” Fyneface asked Fiona who was already upset.
“He was fooled by a bitch he met last week and lost his credit card to her so he stole mine. Cousin can you believe that he didn't even buy cheap dolls, they were really expensive dolls that worth thousands of naira.
Oh my poor credit card” Fiona said the last statement with a crying tone but Newstyle showed up because Fyneface heard her scream and their footsteps sounded loudly around the room like she was chasing him then she dropped the phone but Fyneface sighed and ended the call.
“They are so childish. I'll just get her another card when I get home” Fyneface said as he called his chauffeur to come pick him at the hospital immediately.
He couldn’t count on Fiona and Newstyle at the moment because they were still settling their childish issue. After calling the driver, he went back to Felicia’s ward but she was still asleep so he went over and sat next to her on the bed as he gently stroke her hair and observed her sleeping figure but then he noticed that her complexion still looked pale just like when she was brought to the hospital.
“I hope she gets better soon” Fyneface said as he shrugged out of his thoughts but then he saw her move and she lifted her hand weakly to touch him mine.
“Why did you leave hubby? I missed you” Felicia said so quietly that he almost didn't hear her but when he eventually heard her clearly, he smiled and whispered sweetly to her ear but seeing that she was probably still asleep and just sleep-talking he caressed her gently.
“I'm here now, just relax and sleep okay” Fyneface said as he bent down and kissed her.
Meanwhile, Esther on the other hand gritted her teeth angrily because her deadly mission wasn’t accomplished.
“I made such a stupid mistake and the deadline he gave me is drawing closer and closer. Why didn't I check the drug before giving it to her? Well, at least her little bastard is gone now” Esther said as she looked at Mrs. Kate who was knitting peacefully unaware of what happened to her poor Felicia then Esther smiled.
“I can't wait for the real fun to begin because no one will ever suspect me and I will still find a way to take care of that bitch once and for all”.
Victor walked to the VVIP ward and glanced at the beauty on the hospital bed but he couldn't go in because the nurses around will get suspicious and might even call the security.
"She is so beautiful. That bastard Fyneface has always been lucky since we were young. I actually liked him when we were young and we were very good friends but I don't know when the hatred started.
All I remember was that anytime we were together, people seemed to like him and praise him more than me even ladies seem to flock around him and he had the perfect happy family.
A loving mother, a caring father and a cheerful brother but I didn't have the same luck. Though our grandparents were good friends but my parents weren't a good example at all. My father was an abusive money gambler who almost ruined our family and my mom was a high-class slut.
No one knew this family secret, no one except Fyneface because I trusted him then with everything.
Then we had a conflict about a girl I really liked but it turned out that the girl likes Newstyle and I told him about it.
As a good friend, he should have tried to bring us together but instead he went behind my back and had a one night stand with her and he even happily flaunted it to my face.
I got so angry that I beat him up and that was the first conflict we ever had. The next day when I went to college, flyers of my parents dirty secrets were everywhere although I knew Fyneface doesn't attend college because he was being home-schooled but he was the only one who knew that secret"Victor said as he looked at the lady on the bed again.
"That incident happened years ago and I'm still angry about it but it seems like that bastard has been doing well.
I never thought of him as a family man but now he's married and he seems to be in love with her. I really wanted to see the lady that was able to capture that bastard's heart".
Just then the nurse attending to her left the room and Victor hurriedly hid himself but as soon as she passed he entered the room.
"Those nurses are so incompetent, leaving a patient all alone" Victor said as he walked over to the bed and his breathe ceased seeing the stunning beauty on the bed.
"She is so beautiful and her complexion is so pale but why does her stepmother hate her so much that she wants to kill her? Don't be surprised, I've been spying on Fyneface and that's how I got to know about this angel.
I know all the information about her even though I hate her husband, she and the unborn child are innocent and from what I've gathered, she's nice and kind so I don't get why that old hag wants her dead? I regret flying into the country too late because I would have been able to evade what happened to her.
But now I'm here, even if I couldn't protect her I'll help her out secretly" Victor said as he held her pale hand.
"Do you want to know why I care so much about Felicia? It's because she's similar to my younger sister, the sister I never got to grow up with, the sister I never got to protect from bullies and stupid guys.
He didn't let my sister grow up as he molested her, raped and finally killed her. He claimed to be my father's friend but I should have known better. I should have known that birds of the same feathers flock together" Victor lamented but then he heard Felicia whisper something and tears came out of her eyes even though they were tightly shut so he bent his head and heard her say something about a baby then he wondered what they must have done to her.
"Why did that old hag do this to an innocent soul? From what my private investigator gathered, she must be planning to instigate the blame to Felicia's nanny. I know she has been working for someone but I can't find any information about the person?
He or she must be a powerful person to have blocked all information. But what does the person even want from Felicia? These whole events is so confusing and I've also been investigating where the bastard that killed my sister was and all clues are pointing towards the person that wants Felicia dead.
Are they really the same person? How did that old hag What's her name again? Oh yes Esther how did Esther get entangled with him?"
Victor asked so many questions but there was no one to even answer until he suddenly heard footsteps coming into the room so he quickly hide somewhere because it was Fyneface.
I Victor rolled his eyes at Fyneface who was acting all lovey-dovey with his wife on the bed but he had to endure few minutes of torture from watching their public display of affection until they finally left the room.
"I think she got discharge but that foolish Fyneface is still the same. His wife hasn't recovered yet and he already got her discharged. Victor was about to walk out when he bumped into someone and a tray fell down then the contents scattered on the floor and when he looked down, it was a nurse a pretty looking nurse who shivered slightly as she bent down to pick up the things.
“I'm so sorry sir. I thought everyone already vacated the room. Sorry sir. So sorry” she pleaded but Victor was lost staring at her huge backside as she picked the tools on the floor so he smirked and looked at the nurse.
"Hmm, I've found my new plaything" Victor said with a smile.
Meanwhile, Fyneface carried Felicia into the room and wondered why everywhere was so quiet because he was expecting to meet Fiona and Newstyle almost killing themselves but everywhere was unusually quiet.
When Fyneface kept Felicia on the bed, she winced slightly in pain but he kissed her forehead and whispered in her ears.
“Get well soon and let's make many more babies” Fyneface said but Felicia ignored him but if it it were the former kitty he know, she would have pouted, frowned or glared at him by now
But he didn't even reply because she only stared into space with no emotion in her eyes but Fyneface gulped.
" I'm afraid of the new change in kitty. Is she really going insane like what the doctor said? What's changing about my love?" Fyneface asked but just then she spoke quietly that she had to move closer to hear her.
“I don't want any baby. I don't want to make any baby again.” I looked at her. Where's the kitty I know? Who's this lady in front of me?
"Where's my feisty kitten?" Fyneface thought but before he would say anything else, she turned her face away and closed her eyes which made him grow annoyed.
"Having a miscarriage isn't the end of the world and everyone loved the unborn baby dearly and we are all sad we didn't get to meet the baby also.
So what's all this nonsense she's saying about not making a baby?. I won't say anything for now because I know the wound is still very fresh and Kitty's still hurt about the loss of our baby.
I won't say a word because she's not in a good condition right now and I don't want to make it worse" Fyneface encouraged himself then stood up and went out of the room. Immediately he went out, he placed a call across to Paschal hoping he has gotten hold of Erica
"Hello boss, there's a problem" Paschal said sounding worried.
"What is it? Have you gotten her yet?"
