Meeting and Parting were part of life. That was the first thing Lord Zamir had thought while he held his parents' bodies as the procession of the Netherworld carried off their souls. He had felt extremely sad but he did not cry. He understood Zamir's words and intentions very well. Death was a daily bread for a Realm Master, if he should cry at every death. What kind of realm master would that make him?

 But now, when he thought apart this soul rejoining with the rest of Feng Mian's soul, his eyes couldn't help but get wet. H.e did not want Shi Zian to go back to Feng Mian's body

He looked at the floating soul and he suddenly reached out to touch it. He could keep it, hide him while he finds the rest of the souls then he would find another body for Feng Mian. But Feng Mian would be injured and Shi Zian might despise him because of it. He rubbed his chest, he could not let that happen.
