"I see, so regarding the first mission. What exactly is the protagonist opportunity?"

[The protagonist Zhang Kai will bid an unidentified sword in the next auction. That particular sword was once used by a saint and contained his life long practice]

"WTF!! How is that even possible? In the first place, how could he have enough money to buy something like that?"

Zhang Kai was practicing when suddenly Jin Ling (His master) appeared and said to him.

"Little Kai, seeing that your cultivation growth has slow down, I suggest you find rare herbs so that I can make u a pill that will aid your growth."

"Got it master, I will try to find those herbs you spoke. Coincidentally, there will be an auction held in this city where all sorts of things will be listed."

Time passed by and the beginning of the auction was not far away.

At the entrance of the auction, a brown haired boy who looked like he was 14 was seen walking in.

"What is this garbage doing here?? Can you even afford anything? HAHHAHAHA??

As Zhang Kai was walking in, he heard noises behind him and he turn around to see his cousin Zhang Fei who was laughing like a maniac.

"Zhang Fei, what I do is none of your business." Zhang Kai replied as he continued moving toward the auction hall.

Seeing that his words didn't affect Zhang Kai, Zhang Fei stopped with his provocation as the auction hall was not some random place and even his father could not protect him if he create a mess here.

"Just you wait, this is not over." Zhang Fei muttered, and he followed Zhang Kai into the auction hall.

Inside one of the VIP room inside of the auction hall, Li Chen was sitting while he is casually drinking his tea.

"Ohh, there it is. Our protagonist and villain have arrive." Li Chen said as a smile appeared on his face. It could be seen that his expression resembles someone who is watching a live performance show.

When suddenly a girl who looked like 18 years old step on the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the annual auction of Nanjing City."

Cheers erupted throughout the hall as the girl said those words.

"Today's auction will feature items that are really hard to get. From precious herbs, rare elixirs, magical creatures, powerful cultivation techniques and artifacts will be auctioned today!!"

"And now let the auction began!!!"

Once again cheers erupted in the hall.

As she said those words, another girl who looked similar age to the speaker brought an item covered with a curtain around it.

"Lets reveal the first item."

The hall went silent at the speaker's words, as they saw the young girl unveil the first item, and it could be seen a marble sized object that emitted a powerful aura.

"A 3rd grade spirit gathering pill will be the first item auctioned. The starting bid will be 1000 gold and the increment will be no less than 100 gold each!! The girl said as the auction officially started.
