บท 11: The weak
The cafeteria of the royal academy was inside a rectangular building it was right in the middle of all the classroom buildings for 1st years until 4th years
Right now the cafeteria entrance was flooding with students
but there was a Vip entrance for the top-ranked students
Me and Emily walked in from there
The building had 6 floors and each floor except the 6th floor were huge
Similar to the ranking for classes cafeteria was also ranked
On each floor was a small space for a kitchen and hundreds of tables plus the cutlery and condiments were already prepared
Each floor was ranked for the weakest students to the strongest students from 1st floor until the 6th and also nobles occupied the higher floors and commoners took the first floors
The meals provided by each floor were also different the higher your rank the better food you will get
Me and Emily took the elevator and went to 6th floor that was reserved for nobles and top students
the decorations were world different from 1st floor the walls had gorgeous paintings on them along with beautiful carving
Also there was a band playing live music a gentle one and the ceiling had insignia of the Royal academy on it decorated with light
Me and Emily took a seat in the middle and sat down
'They should arrive anytime now'

Somewhere not far
"Olivia is this the cafeteria?"
Ellis asked with amazement written on her face her facial expressions were so easy to read that even Olivia found her funny at times
"Yes it is, this huge building is cafeteria
"Wow i wanna see inside lets go in fast!"
She took Olivia's hand dragged her toward cafeteria
Anna and kyle were also here watching this gigantic building that had a small oval shaped floor on top
After some time waiting in line they finally entered the first floor
And Ellis like a little kid was looking at everything with a gleaming eyes very excited
"Well you need to calm down Ellis this is only the first floor wait until you see the higher ones"
Anna and kyle hearing this had the same question in thier minds
Kyle decided to ask Olivia
"Olivia can we enter the higher floors?
The rules estate that its only for high-ranking nobles and students
"What are you saying kyle, your going there with me what can happen?"
Seeing kyle was still hesitant about going with him she said
"Dont worry about it i have some powerful connections up there there is nobody daring enough to mess with me, so stop looking at me like that and lets go"
Anna hearing this remembered the day when Olivia wanted to talk with that Ashen haired man the strongest student in this academy and got ignored instead
She was very curious about Olivia's relationship with that man
"Olivia by powerful connections do you mean that Ashen-haired man you were trying to talk other day?"
Kyle also got interested he saw Aamon Lancaster the top student in this academy and was curious about Olivia's relationship
Olivia hearing this question stood in place
the scene at the auditorium hall came to her
Aamon in the past was cold to her but not to this extent, those cold eyes that day made her remember the first time she saw him at thier mansion
Aamon was difficult to get along with but he never treated her like a Nobody
but also there was something wrong, Aamon's sister Emily, was also with him at that time
she knew a lot about Aamon and also knew that Aamon didn't like Emily at all
so it came as a small shock to her when she saw Emily smirk at her behind Aamon's back
She clenched her hands tightly from anger
'I put aside my pride and decided to approach him and he treated me like that hmph! even if he begs me i won't ever talk to him'
"Of course not I don't know any jerk like him
"Okay guys im starving lets head upstairs and eat something!"
Saying this everyone nodded thier heads although kyle didn't have a good feeling about this he also tagged along
Soon they arrived at the 6th floor
The paintings that hung on the walls and live music coupled coupled with intoxicating food aroma got Ellis distracted her eyes were moving between everything left and right
Everyone was eating thier food
Very calmly and there was probably fewer then 80 inside the calm atmosphere inside was very attractive from 1st years to 4th years all were present here they were easily distinguishable from thier uniforms color
Meanwhile Kyle Anna and Olivia's eyes were looking somewhere else
At a corner of this floor, an ashen blue-haired man was sitting with a girl that had the closest resemblance to a snow fairy
her milky white legs with knee high black socks and her slim but proportional body made many men drool at her and her demanour as a noble was perfect except that she talked a lot
Aamon and Emily Lancaster, Emily was talking nonstop and Aamon being his usual cold self ignoring some of her talking
The group sat a couple of tables away from the two
"Speak of the Devil, there he is and whose the girl beside him they always together are they dating or something"(Anna)
Anna spoke with interest Olivia after seeing him for a moment averted her gaze
"No their not,that girl is his Sister Emily"
Olivia answered anna with a hint of annoyance while looking at Emily
Kyle got interested and asked
"Olivia you know a lot about someone you dislike
"Sigh~i guess there is no hiding it then
Actually me and him..."
Aamon's POV
'So they came'
Just like novel described them thier facial features actions everything was the same even Ellis fawning at everything
"....Brother are you listening?
Where are you looking at?
Huh they look like commoners
what are they doing here and isn't that Olivia there
"So many questions stop talking and start eating"
Clink!!!
The sound of cutlery and plate falling on the ground echoed through the canteen
'So its finally happening'
I calmly ate my food while paying attention to them
Whispers filled the hall filled with mocking stares and smirks
This scene was described in the novel as the first time the main cast getting harassed by nobles this is the starting point as well as the first spark that ignites a flame in the hearts of the main cast called Revenge
After this incident and Olivia's embarrassment they set thier hearts on getting back at the nobles and thus leading to a big fight between commoners and nobles
Kyle is the leader of commoners while Aamon is the leader of nobles although Aamon didn't want this,after Emily got beaten by kyle, it left him no choice
To the present
"Brother look at that looks like some people took action"
I looked over Kyle Olivia and Ellis standing while their food was purposefully knocked down from their table by some students obviously Nobles, smirking at them
"Brother aren't you gonna help Olivia if she gets targeted by those people it's not gonna end well for her
I mean that's Lucas Branson right there
his father is a powerful viscount
"It's not my concern"
Ellis being the hot-headed one grabbed the guy's shirt
The other two glared at her
"Hay do you know you're touching!,
his Lucas Branson son of Viscount Branson if you hurt him your gonna get dismissed from the academy as well as your little group"
The other one laughed then said slowly
"No,no, no, what are you saying
we are gentlemen considering his little girlfriend we might...honor her in our bed"
He was licking his lips while looking at Ellis
Ellis tightened her hand and sparks of lightning started to swirl around her hand
When suddenly Olivia grabbed her hand
Ellis got confused but when she saw Olivia's angry face she let go of the guy's shirt
Olivia glared at the trio and said
"Do you know who I am!?
I'm Olivia Clark the heir to the Clark corporation if you mess with me it's not gonna end well for you"
The trio looked at each other and then smirked
One of them stepped forward and talked while looking down at Olivia
"Oh we know...but we also don't care"
Another one came forward
"Do you think being the daughter of a famous merchant can save you from breaking rules of the academy?"
The guy that got released(Lucas)while struggling to breathe said
"Yeah, bringing lower-ranked students to this floor is prohibited by the academy, so if we just report this,
plus attempting to harm a noble, the lightest punishment would be expulsion."
Olivia hearing this couldn't refute
indeed everything they said was true she clenched her fists hard and dropped her head
Kyle quickly got the gist of the situation and grabbed Ellis's arm and Olivia turned around to leave with Anna when suddenly one of the previous guys said
"Hmph!! Do you think having connections with a Duke's household gonna make you special or something
let me tell you this nobody believes his that strong
He probably got the number 1 spot with his father's connections "

'The scene is playing just like a movie in front of me,Lucas using rules to pressure Olivia ,while kyle bit his lips and took the group out, although his very power he cant go against the rules"
This was the end of this scene i was nearly done with my food when i heard it, something that didn't supposed to happen
"Hmph!! Do you think having connections with a Duke's household gonna make you special or something
let me tell you this nobody believes his that strong
He probably got the number 1 spot with his father's connections "
I probably never knew about this feeling and if this incident didn't happen i wouldn't have known ,
The feeling of being looked down upon
By someone weak,
Someone that i would never even consider a human being much less an insect, the words he said rang in my ears
Even the feelings of original Aamon's surfaced ,the Anger ,and Pride Aamon was described in the novel as very prideful so it was only natural that this would happen
Clink!
"You sure talk a lot for a mere weakling"
A cold voice came from behind of trio
Everyone turned thier head including Kyle and the rest
The trio turned back and saw Aamon wiping his mouth his voice surprised them but not to the extent of backing off
They had Lucas his father is very powerful, his family guards the west like an iron fortress so thier words carry weight in court even an Marquise has to bow his head when he visits western lands
Lucas seeing this composed himself quickly and said with a confident smile
"So what? Everyone here agrees with my words isnt that true?"
Lucas while saying that looked at those around him that had enmity with Lancasters or simply didnt like Aamon,but from fear they chose to hide but now that Lucas pointed it out many of them got the courage and stood up
"Yeah his right i dont believe his that good either
"Yeah his abusing his authority
"Hmph his nothing more then a pretender"
Lucas's smile grew wider he turned to Aamon and said
"See everyone agrees and your family have bin calling us weak for generations,have you ever heard when weaklings gather even the strong cant beat them our.."
suddenly he got cut off by Aamon
"Thats enough of your babbling"
Aamon's voice became colder he slowly stood up and walked towards lucas
"I dont understand the feelings of the weak, the law of the world is survival of the fittest.
Its how the weak are weeded out.
It just means those people that died were too weak. Its only natural for the weak to perish"
Aamon's words were overwhelming, but nobody dared to refute not even a squeak
Could be heard, these weren't just words the person saying this had absolute belief in it, his face as serious as it gets
Aamon slowly got closer while his cold eyes locked on lucas
Lucas for the first time found his hands and legs shaking from Aamon's gaze
His body started trembling
'W-what is this fear?'
He couldn't believe this
For a moment he couldn't control himself the pressure from Aamon made him run while his lackeys froze in place
He turned around to run but
"You thought it was that easy to run?"
Suddenly Aamon dashed toward Lucas and kicked him before Lucas could hit the ground Aamon hit him with his Palm on mid air
Bam!! pak!
Lucas hit the ground on his back,blood splattered from his mouth while he struggled to breath Aamon hit him right beneath his ribcage
A hand came towards Aamon at fast speed Aamon interlocked his fingers and turned it inside out while hit the opposite if the hand right in the Elbow with his Fist a heart wrenching crack sound came
Crack!! Aghhhhhh!!!
The boy screamed with all his strength from immense pain he was feeling,but a hard punch not short after landed on his temple
Doof!! Bang!
.his body hit the ground passed out from pain
The other lackey was frozen before he could register what was happening he saw a shoe at his face
Bam!
His head got buried in the marble floor passed out from impact
Aamon slowly raised his bloodied shoe took a step forward and stood above Lucas
Lucas that was slightly recovered and his vision becoming clearer he suddenly understood how ugly his situation was
He was sprawled on the ground like a dog while Aamon stared at him from that high position
"Damn it!!" He got angry and tried to get up
Under everyone's eyes Aamon lifted his right leg and stepped down firmly
Bam!
Lucas's head was harshly stepped on
his head made a loud sound while hitting the marble floor
Lucas raged again and wanted to get up
Aamon's eyes became emotionless like a pair of Ice and he trampled down once again
Bam!
Lucas's s head hit the stage again his scalp opened up and blood bled nonstop
"Dammit!!!Dammit!!!"Lucas's teeth were about to be crushed from all that clenching the Rage he felt was burning through his entire body he tried to get up again
But Aamon's third step came down
this time he continued to step on his head not letting go, under the immense force Lucas's head was harshly squeezed between his foot and the marble floor
Lucas's face was almost deformed and he breathed ruggedly struggling to no avail
Aamon raised his eyes and looked at the people around him,then he said with a cold voice that sent shiver down the spine of many students including Olivia and the rest
"The weak are destined to lie beneath the boots of the strong if that Angers you overcome your weaknesses I welcome any challenge"
Aamon straightened his clothes and wiped the blood off of his fist with a napkin then slowly walked towards elevator like he didn't fight just now and all of this wasn't even his doing
"Brother, wait for me~"
Emily also got up and left with him
