บท 17: Joining the Party
After the introductions, the three continued getting to know each other.
Wyatt learned quite a bit about the siblings during this time such as the fact they come from another starting city named Lily Flow City which is over an hour away from Moltic forest but in the opposite direction of Wyatts starting city. Another interesting fact he learned is that the two of them are part of a famous martial arts family in Europe which helped to explain the brothers massive size and combat prowess despite being a healer.
Wyatt was actually very curious about why Bellamy chose to play a priest when he is trained in combat. When he asked him the response he got was "Sigh..... I've been forced to train enough in real life I just want to escape it all" while looking at Wyatt with an exhausted face.
Melody or Mel for short could be described as the opposite of her older brother, Mel is a complete battle addict often getting in trouble for challenging or attacking strong fighters not even just ingame but in the real world as well.
"So why are you guys collecting wolf pelts anyways?" Wyatt inquired
"It's for Mels test she needs to bring 50 wolf hides to a retired knight living in our city to become his pupil" Answered Bel
"How about you? any reason you're out here hunting shrub goblins alone"
"Not really I was going to train with my teacher but she ended up being busy so I figured id gain some fighting experience against some mobs" Wyatt answered honestly
Hearing his answer Melodys voice perked up "If you still want to get some fighting experience how about partying up with us!" She shouted. Wyatt was a bit surprised by the sudden invite since he hadn't spent much time around other players so far besides fighting Lukas earlier.
Looking at the ginger girls pleading eyes he finally caved in "Sure, Why not I have some plant collection quests I still need to finish anyways"
"WOOO!!"
[MarshMellow has invited you to join the party: THE ULTIMATE TEAM!]
[accept] [decline]
Rolling his eyes at the party name Wyatt clicked accept.
[Party members: Marshmellow, Dumbbell, Twite]
Wyatt Chuckled reading their in-game names.
"Welcome to the team" Bel smiled
Settling everything the group of three headed back into the bustling forest looking for wolves
"By the way how old are you?" Mel asked
"16 how about the two of you?" He responded
"Oh you're the same age as me" she smiled "As for the old man beside us he's 20"
Bellamy rolled his eyes at his little sisters joke as he continued his search.

20 minutes later they could their first targets
A group of 3 wolves with white and green fur appeared in front of them
"So whats the plan?" Wyatt asked
"What plan"
WOOSH
Melody disappeared from his side appearing over top of one of the wolves with a smile swinging down her hammer. Wyatt watched the scene with a sigh "Is she always like that?" he asked her brother.
"Yep once again I apologize" Bel patted him on the shoulder before the two of them followed their hyperactive teammate into the battle.
[Wind wall]
Wyatt first created a wall blocking one of the wolves who were about to leap onto Melody after this he changed his focus to the third wolf still watching the group carefully. Leaping into the air Wyatt covered one of his chakram in lightning mana before throwing it at the wolf. Controlling the chakram he managed to cut into one of its back legs as it tried to jump away, following this attack Wyatt dashed forward first blocking the wolfs claw attack with his in-hand chakram next he covered his free hand in lightning mana sticking the wolf in the neck sending it flying back.
Although Wyatt managed to get a couple of clean hits in before the wolf was sent flying it managed to throw out another claw attack slashing him across the chest and losing 40 health points.
Jumping back Wyatt was about to rethink his strategy when suddenly his body started glowing with white light. turning around he saw Bellamy casting a healing spell on him quickly recovering his injury.
Wyatt couldn't help but think "having a healer is pretty useful"
Deciding to trust his back to Bellamy, Wyatt once again engaged close range with the wolf but this time he started releasing his drowsy skill eating away at the wolves stamina. The siblings were confused when a pink bubble suddenly appeared during their group battle but they decided to put off asking till after the fight.
After waiting for the wolf to become sluggish from his poison Wyatt managed to finish it off by slashing it across the belly with a jolt blade. Checking up on the siblings Wyatt saw that Melody had already finished off her first wolf with an earth spike sticking out of its face and was now already engaged in combat with the wolf Wyatt had cut off earlier with his wall.
Joining the ginger in her battle the two easily overpowered the final wolf by cutting off its path with their use of wind and earth mana leading to Melody getting a clean slam onto its back with her hammer.
"Phew that was fun!" She declared
Even Wyatt had to agree with her this time. Despite the fact the wolves could be considered quite a bit stronger than the shrub goblins he was battling not long ago Wyatt felt like this was by far his easiest battle so far.
"I guess having a party really does make all the difference in an MMO" he thought.
After cleaning up the loot Wyatt let the siblings keep all the loot from the wolves since he was just tagging along for experience anyways. Despite their argument for him to take some pelts they came to an agreement when they gave him some herbs they found earlier finishing off one of his quests.
[Collect Silver Riverbloom plants] [10/10]
Sadly he wasn't lucky enough to find any of the Hogweed he needed and when he described the plant to the siblings they said they hadn't seen anything like that in the forest so far. finishing up they continued on their hunt.
Time passed quickly but sadly the trio wasn't lucky in finding any more targets.
"This is boringgggg, Where the heck are all the monster?" Melody shouted frustratingly
Bellamy and Wyatt were also starting to get tired of mindlessly walking around not finding anything. Deciding to take a break the trio found an open clearly to sit down for a bit.
Melody walked over to a large rock in the clearing before plopping down on top of it
RRUUUMBBBLEEE RUMBLEE
Suddenly the floor beneath her started shaking as the stone she lay on shifted.
[New Dungeon discovered]
[Moltic forest wolf den] [recommended level: 5]
the trio were all surprised accidentally stumbling onto a hidden dungeon
