บท 9: Level up!
BOOOM!
With all the collected wind mana underneath him Wyatt launched himself forward toward the goat the sound of his launch was so loud it not only broke the branch he was hidden on but also startled the nearby goats.
The young goat startled got up instantly and tried to make an escape but its fate was already sealed.
As Wyatt launched forward with [Wind hop] he used [Jolt blade] covering both his weapons in electric currents before launching them at the head of the young goat. No matter how much faster the raw speed of the goat was it was no match for the combination of skills Wyatt used.
As both blades implanted themselves into the young goats head Wyatt landed on the ground instantly using another [Wind hop] to launch toward the water hoping to get some distance.
"BAAAAAAAAAAAAH"
"BAAAH"
The Enraged cries of the herd rang out immediately and Wyatt knew he didn't even have time to look back as he focused all his energy on sprinting toward the lake.
Some local players in the area laughed at the scene of a noob running away.
"Hahahaha look at that moron running away! who does he think he is fighting a whole herd alone" one player yelled out getting laughs from those around him.
Even with all the noise around Wyatt couldn't hear any of it as he was so focused on running for his life. He could feel the ground vibrating quickly getting stronger as he felt the goats approaching him.
Not far behind him, the pack's leader was approaching quickly the rage burning in its eyes as it aimed its horns toward Wyatt but right before his horn reached [Wind hop]
Wyatt could feel the horn graze his back as he launched himself forward fumbling around the ground before catching his feet and managing to get into the water. Once in the water, he got some distance between himself and the shore before he started accumulating lightning mana in his hands waiting for his prey to enter the water.
not long after the herd arrived at the edge of the lake eyeing their target leader eyeing down Wyatt in anger. Although they were enraged they weren't dumb enough to just charge into the water without thinking at all. After pacing near the edge a bit the leader finally got impatient and stepped into the water.
Wyatt didn't attack yet as he wanted more goats to step into the water before he started his plan. sweat formed on his back as he nervously waited because the remaining goats didn't immediately follow their leader. As the goat approached Wyatt took heavy breaths trying to calm himself not to waste this chance.
When the lead goat reached half the distance the other goats finally got impatient and charged into the water.
Finally, the moment Wyatt was waiting for arrived he plunged both his hands into the water while unleashing all his built-up electricity [Shock hands].
Immediately after releasing his attack Wyatt pulled out his two chakrams and began throwing them relentlessly at the approaching goats focusing mostly on the stronger leader who was less affected by his electric plan.
it didn't take long for the electricity to start affecting the weaker goats especially when they started accumulating injuries from Wyatts fly chakrams. Slowly one by one the goats fell starting with the weakest until only the leader remained.
Seeing its herd being slaughtered enraged the goat even more and as its eyes flared in anger it gain an extra boost of strength launching itself at Wyatt.
Wyatt knew that if he was hit directly chances are he would die almost instantly so he immediately launched himself forward with [wind hop] while covering his weapons with [Jolt blade]as the two approached each other right before they connected Wyatt launched his blades forward at a distance impossible for the lead goat to dodge.
The two chakrams pierced the goats eyes as it collapsed into the water.
"WOOOOO MY PLAN WORKED" Wyatt shouted out in excitement feeling a rush of exhaustion pass over him.
Many of the earlier laughing player had stuck around to see the death of the funny noob but instead, they were not left with gaping mouths in shock at the absurd seen in front of them. Most of them couldn't believe that they just watched a complete beginner pull off an absurd strategy and actually managed to kill an entire goat herd by himself.
After making his way through the now reddening water Wyatt sat on the shore and took out some stamina recovery plants that he bought earlier with his leftover coins. While chewing on the medical plants Wyatt checked his exp bar. Seeing how his exp bar had gone up by 30% Wyatt decided to use the strategy a couple more times before the day turned dark but this time he decided to only choose smaller groups that are easier to handle.

The rest of Wyatts afternoon went as expected after targeting smaller groups that only gave 15-20% exp Wyatt finally leveled up after another 5 hours.
After leveling Wyatt gained 10 free stat points to add anywhere he wanted. Choosing to wait till he got his poison skills from his teacher before committing his free stats Wyatt headed back toward the starting town. Arriving back at the training center Wyatt sat back down and focused on controlling his lightning element again. Since his main focus before his bet was already done Wyatt planned to spend the rest of the remaining time training before he went to sleep.
Time quickly passed as Wyatt trained this time he changed up his strategy instead of trying to cover both hands at the same time he was only focusing on his left hand and arm trying to see if he could fully cover it before the match tomorrow. Although only focusing one one hand wouldn't help with his weapons it would allow him to store more electricity in one place and then unleash a much stronger attack at close range.
"BOO" Saleen shouted while pushing Wyatts back causing him to get startled and jump up.
realizing its just his teacher Wyatt sat back down with a sigh "Welcome back teacher I hope your shopping was fruitful" he stated with a smile
Saleen rolled her eyes at her student before taking out 2 books from a bag and tossing them over to him.
"These are the only 2 skills I could find for now" she told him.
"No problem teacher anything helps" he replied before grabbing the two skill books on the floor in front of him
Wyatt examined his two new skills.
