Opening the bedroom door Wyatt sighted 3 unfamiliar faces near the entrance of the training room. In front of the group of three Wyatts teacher could be seen arguing with an older man with a long scar across his left cheek.
It wasn't hard for Wyatt to figure out the identities of the 3 strangers. Starting with the older man, judging by his age and the sword hanging on the waist of the older man Wyatt assumed he is the Sword instructor of this training centre. Besides the instructor, 2 younger faces could be seen standing a couple of steps behind him both with swords as well they were clearly players like Wyatt as well as students of the one arguing with his teacher.
He made his way toward the group to pick up on their conversation.
"Saleen stop being so stubborn!" the older man shouted before continuing "All I'm asking is to use your training area so that I can better accommodate all my new students.
"I already answered you last time Sir Lavon I have no plans of lending my training section to any other instructor" Saleen replied judging by her voice it was obvious this wasn't the first time they had this conversation.
"Tch I don't understand what the problem is with letting a few students train here. More students will help strengthen our entire training centre why can't you understand this Saleen instead of letting this place collect dust" Sir Lavon stated with clear frustration.
"Collecting dust? I don't know about you but I keep my area perfectly clean" Saleen snarked back before beginning to turn away.
"Saleen!" Sir Lavon shouted but before he could continue one of his students interrupted.
"How dare you ignore our teacher! Just hand over this training area clearly no one wants to learn your useless weapon since you don't even have any students." yelled the sword student.
The player who stepped up was a male roughly in his early 20s with dirty blonde hair and dark eyes there was a visible scowl on his face.
Anger flashed across Saleens eyes but before she could argue with the student Lavon cut in.
"Trainee Lukas behave!" he reprimanded his pupil.
"But master I didn't say anything wrong! everyone in the centre knows there hasn't been a new chakram in almost 10 years" Lukas argued back.
At this point, Saleen had enough of the insults but before she could speak up she was once again cut off by another voice.
"Actually she does have a student" the voice cut in.
Obviously this voice was Wyatt appearing behind his angry teacher.
"And I recommend you show some respect towards my teacher she can be quite short tempered" he continued.
Lukas eyed Wyatt up in down with a disgusted look before stating "Having 1 student change my statement that no one wants to learn a useless weapon!"
At this point, Wyatt was starting to get annoyed with the sword students attitude.
"Judging by how you're following Sir Lavon around you must be a pretty important student right?" Wyatt asked Lukas.
"Well obviously! Teacher Lavon only teaches a handful of students himself while others are taught by his assistants. Not that it matters to someone as weak as you but I'm considered his number one student." Lukas replied in disdain.
"Of course chakrams are weak and you're a sword genius correct?" Wyatt sarcastically questioned him.
"No shit, what's your point?" Lukas replied
"Well then since you're such a genius I guess you wouldn't fear a spar?" said Wyatt
"HAA! a spar with you? I wouldn't even break a sweat" Lukas replied
"Well glad you're so confident I suppose you wouldn't mind a little bet then?" Wyatt snarked back.
disgust flared on the face of Lukas, he hated the fact someone learning a "useless" weapon would dare challenge him.
"What kind of bet?" Lukas questioned.
"oooh just something simple! If you lose both you and your master will refrain from bothering my teacher from now on" Wyatt declared with a mischievous smile.
Hearing this Lavon glared at Wyatt "Don't push your luck child my argument with Saleen has nothing to do with you"
Knowing Sir Lavon wouldn't fall for provocation Wyatt focused on Lukas.
"Sigh sorry my friend Lukas it seems your teacher doesn't have much faith in your ability" Wyatt sighed patting Lukas on the shoulder pretending like he was actually hurt for a good friend.
"tch" Lukas snarked he wasn't so dumb that he couldn't tell Wyatt was trying to get under his skin but even so his bruised ego stopped him from thinking rationally.
"Master Lavon please let me spar! There's no way I would ever lose to such a weakling" Lukas Declared
Lavon sighed clearly realizing how easily his student was being manipulated "A bet has to be even what does my pupil get out of this?" he glared at Wyatt.
"Oh simple you wanted to use this training area right? if he wins consider it done" Wyatt declared
This got his looks of surprise from everyone in the arena including his own teacher.
"Wyatt!" Saleen gave him a stern look but when she saw his confident smile she sighed and calmed down.
Lavon stared at Saleen but seeing her just shrug it he had no choice but to accept the bet was simply too good to turn down.
Glaring at Wyatt he replied "Fine! and when will this spar transpire?"
"Hmm how about tomorrow afternoon?" Wyatt replied
Not wanting to waste any more time Lavon simply nodded his head before dragging his two students away of course not before Lukas was able to say something about Wyatt regretting this tomorrow.
The one who caught Wyatts eyes the most though was actually Lavons other student who stood in the back. Although he hadn't said a single thing throughout the encounter his appearance alone was enough. Standing at barely 5'6 the other student was much shorter than everyone else in the room but the giant greatsword hanging on his back along with the awkward wide smile on his face gave Wyatt an eerie feeling.
After the three swordsmen left Saleen finally focused on her Student.
"Sooo my lovely student care to tell me why you're so confident in the spar?" she questioned him
Smiling at his teacher Wyatt simply replied "Its because I have the best teacher of course"
This got both a laugh and an eye roll from his teacher.
"Besides I still have my secret weapon" he continued smirking
"And what might that be?" Saleen questioned.
"My third affinity of course! like you said poison is very rare and since Sir Lavons students are new like me they would have only been around an extra day" a wicked smile appearing on his face.
"There seems to be a little problem with your secret weapon my dear student. You have yet to learn any poison skills remember?" Saleen stated
"Oh I remember don't worry, honestly I'm going to be very busy preparing for the spar. First I need to work on my lightning control before heading out and leveling" Wyatt let out a loud exaggerated sigh "I guess ill have no choice but to rely on my amazing teacher to supply me some poison skills while I work hard on my training!" he declared.
Pinching the bridge of her nose due to the shamelessness of her student Saleen sighed "I'll see what I can do" she waved her hand leaving the training area.
Wyatt had a lot of training to get through if he wanted to defeat Lukas but before any of that, it was time for him to log off and eat dinner.
