~Oh my goodness. My host is a brilliant deranged individual. The delight. I chose to ignore the jibe, despite the fact that I found the grunt in Ddraig's gravelly voice amusing. And, indeed. I was even willing to offer you that choice because you are going to need a lot of power in order to comfortably cope with what is going to happen if the person you tell me is going to be engaged in this situation is actually going to be involved in this situation. Ugh. Even though I don't have a body, this is giving me a headache. I don't know what to do. Well, what were you thinking about before I interrupted you? ~
"According to my visions, you are better at channelling raw magical energy as well as fire magic. Because of this, I've been considering exchanging my skin for dragon scales so that I can make better use of this ability, both to improve my physical combat and to better align myself with the element that I have a natural affinity for. Also, it will make me more resilient. I would also like to have a dragon's eyesight, sense of smell, and sense of hearing since there is no such thing as having too much awareness, and lastly, I would like to have a dragon's lungs because I think it would be awesome to be able to breathe fire and shoot energy blasts from my mouth." In addition to that, I would give myself permission to adopt the cool intimidation strategy of letting smoke flow out of my nostrils. I had no way of forgetting that.
~It is surprisingly reasonable and shows a lot of thoughtful consideration. I feel obligated to tell you that, in order to broaden the scope of my arsenal, I also experimented with Lightning Magic, and I used Wind Magic in order to improve my natural elemental magic; thus, if we proceed with what you wanted, then you will also be able to make better use of those elements. Once more, I find myself shocked. Given that you intend to amass a harem, it is not surprising that you have requested the dick of a dragon. I should not have been surprised. ~
Because I just received my first chick today, I'm currently in the process of putting together my harem. I had to set him straight. "And are you truly capable of giving me the dick of a dragon?" Although the idea didn't particularly thrill me, it did manage to pique my interest.

After hearing that, I could practically feel him shrug his shoulders as if he were made of ethereal shoulders as he said, ~Oh well. To get back to the main point, I have to tell you that the procedure is going to be quite painful, and that's not even counting the additional discomfort it will cause. The advantages, on the other hand, are going to be well worth the effort. I used to do this with my former wielders, and all we did was switch arms and occasionally one or two eyes, but they always gained amazing improvements in both their physical and magical capabilities as a result. And you wish to trade your skin, three of your senses, and your lungs for something else... When that happens, I can't even begin to guess how much stronger you'll become. ~
His response was only a nod. "I was right, and that is exactly the reason why I am willing to continue with this. Even though I do not enjoy being in pain, I am willing to submit to it if there is a chance that it would save me from being killed in the future and the pain will be contained within a safe atmosphere." I don't think I ever praised Gamer's Body sufficiently for making whatever discomfort I had temporary.
~It is a sound argument, and one that I have no problem supporting. Now... are you all set? ~
I nodded my head. "Yeah. But before we get into it, there are some other things that need to be covered. I don't know why, but I just have a feeling that I'm about to black out, and I don't want to squander any more time than I absolutely have to. Since I don't have to sleep because of the way my mind and body works, I want to devote all of my waking time to getting stronger in some way, and since I don't have to sleep, that means that I will always be getting better. And this is a routine that I don't want to even take the chance of giving up."
~Very well. What is it that you want to talk about besides that other thing? ~
"Your actualization of the Holy Gear."
"What is wrong with it?"
It only served to make me laugh quite a bit when I heard the outrage and defensiveness in his voice, but all I did was shrug my shoulders in response. "To tell you the truth: It's none of your business. It all depends on the individual's preferences and the level of convenience desired. The gauntlet is incredibly fantastic, but it is also very bulky, which will make it difficult for me to fight in a style that relies on quickness. I had high hopes that the overall aesthetic could be altered to better fit my preferences."
~"Oh. I see. What were you thinking about exactly? ~
"I am aware that you enjoy things that look nice just as much as the next person, which is why I have been considering getting you a pair of light armoured boots, gloves, and a vest. It is possible for the jewel to be placed in the middle of the vest; however, I would like to maintain as much of an aerodynamic design as I can. Do you believe that could be achieved?"
~"Hmmm… I would like to place my claws and talons. ~
"Of course."
I could almost feel the savage grin that was plastered on Ddraig's face, and it made me grin fiercely as well.
