"Mommy, have you seen Ye Mei? I wanted to ask her something to do with homework." She inquired while her eyes roamed around the living room.

"I haven't seen her, but didn't you come back home with her?" Sai Shou her mother responded eying her.

" No, I heard from the students from her class that she skipped class and rushed out seemed to be in hurry, so I thought she came back home... " She softly responded hugging her mother.

"Oohh? That slutty might have gone to Mu Zhong to pester him again..." She harrumphed in annoyance, Ye Shu and Ye Mei were twin sisters but Ye Mei was termed as a jinx while Ye Shu was the perfect daughter.

The previous Ye Mei used to pester Mu Zhong after knowing she was betrothed to him since childhood. In her last life, they did get married but what about this lifetime?

"All right mommy, I will call Mu Zhong.." she pecked her mother's cheek before walking to the living room.

Sai Shou gazed at her daughter warmly before going back to cooking.
