บท 64: chapter 64
--MC POV--
"He disappeared and I have no way to find out where he is!" said an agitated Stiles.
Today is the day of the eclipse and both me and Jennifer know that now we don't have to respect anymore our truce.
After all it is already the day where we'll act and the others will barely have time to ruin our plan, that's probably why she took as a sacrifice someone that is already somehow more connected to me.
Then it's already the time for me to help others too.
"Calm down" I told him as Stiles looked on the verge of a mental breakdown
"How am I even supposed to calm down! My dad has been taken by the darach and we have don't know where he could be. I already tried to look at the photo of the map that Allison's dad sent us, but I found no new place where the sacrifice could take place" said Stiles, while nervously biting his nails.
"I think I know where he is being kept" I said, and all the presents looked at me.
"You know?"
"I looked at Lydia's drawing…"
"You mean the tree I drew" asked Lydia.
"Yes, the one you keep drawing, with the last one you made, they are now 50 and they are all identical".
"So it was another banshee thing… I thought that I had found a talent for drawing" She stated.
"I looked at it better and I realized it wasn't a tree without leaves" I said as I showed them the drawing and after turning it upside down, what was once a tree became a stump with its roots.
"And now what? It's just a stump, there is a whole forest around Beacon Hills full of them" said Stiles.
"Well I heard once from Deaton that there used to be a sacred tree to the druids here. Its name is Nemeton, but it was cut down. I don't know where it is, but Deaton may have an idea of it" I said.
"Okay, we need to go" Said Stiles, but just then Scott's phone ringed and he replied.
"They say that my mother has not gone to work today"
"We don't have time for this…guardians. It refers to parents not to the police" Jennifer never told me this.
"Allison I think you should go to your father" I added.
"Why?"
"Your father has been investigating into the darach since the start, and till now it always tried to kill those who could be a threat first".
Hearing my words she tried to call him immediately, but it didn't work, so she opted to rather call her mother.
"Mom! the darach is going to comes after dad" she said, but from the other side of the phone one could hear the same tribal song we already heard many times.
"It is already here Allison."
"You need to stop it, I'm coming there!" yelled Allison.
"It's too late your father already surrendered and went away with the Darach" Allison lost strength in her legs and fell on her knees.
"Allison, tell her to meet us at the clinic, we still have time to save all of them." I said, trying to give her some hope.

"So you don't know where Nemeton is either" I asked Deaton, who I was sure had an idea of where the place was.
"No, but I have a way to find out. The problem is that it comes with its own dangers".
"We need three surrogate sacrifices, and if it goes right these 3 persons will be dead only for a few seconds, but this too doesn't come without a price. This sacrifice will give power to the Nemeton, which will work as a beacon for the supernatural. All kinds of being will be attracted here."
"Isn't this exactly what has been happening till now?" asked Stiles.
"You would be surprised to know how much, you still have to see about the supernatural" Said Deaton with an ominous voice.
"I'm in" said Scott.
"Me too" followed Scott.
"Sorry, Thomas. I wanted to help you, but I need to save my dad first" Said Allison.
"Don't worry I can understand" I am guilty of what is happening and while I could pass on some strangers being killed by Jennifer, I won't be able to forgive myself if someone I know had to suffer because of my decision.
"No, I'll do it Allison" said Allison's mother.
"Mom…"
"Help your friends, I'll take care of Chris. I love him as much as you do" she said while stroking Allison cheeks.
"Moreover he dared to electrify me and leave with the darach, I need to teach him a lesson" The last phrase made Allison laugh, and lifted her spirit a little.
"This ritual wills also have effect on you, you will feel something akin to darkness around you hearts for the rest of your life" Added Deaton.
"Like a tattoo" murmured Scott.
"I'll be alright" uttered Victoria as she held Allison's hand tighter.
"Each one of you will need to bring an object that has a connection with the person you are trying to reach" said Deaton.

When they came back everyone of them had an object in their hands.
"So, what did you bring?" Asked Deaton to make sure the object in question held enough meaning for the person.
"I got my dad's badge. It is the only thing I found after he was caught. He always brought it with him and the moment I saw it crushed on the floor, I knew that something had happened to him" said Stiles.
"My dad gifted this watch to my mom when she was hired at the hospital. She always said this was the only thing that worked in their marriage" said Scott.
"Is that the silver bullet that dad made when he finished learning all the skills a hunter needs" asked Allison looking at the bullet in her mother hands.
"No, this one holds more meaning to us, we made it together after you were born" said Victoria, while caressing the two "A" stamped on it.
"We made this as a testament of the promise that we would have always protected you" hearing these words Allison hugged her mother.
"Ok, now go with your friend and let me do this." She said, but she was stopped by Deaton.
"We need Allison for one last thing, it will only take a few seconds. Someone you are connected with needs to be there to bring you back to life. I'll do it for Scott, Erika for Stiles and Allison for you" said Deaton.
All three of them entered the tubs filled with water and ice, while the ones who were in charge of bringing them back to life stood behind them and slowly pushed the three inside the cold water.
Times passed and differently from what Deaton said more than 10 hours went by, we also feared they were dead at some point, but luckily all three of them suddenly got up, trying to catch their breath
"It was the night where I got the bite. The nemeton was there." Shouted Scott.
"Yeah I passed by it too that night" added Stiles.
"I nearly hit a guy with my car near there" said Victoria.
"It was me" spoke Scott.
"A pity I evaded you then… wait why are you looking at us like that?"
"You stayed in the water for more than ten hours. The total eclipse is about to start" said Deaton.
"Not only that. Derek was approached by the darach, who by the way was our English teacher, and convinced him to help her kill the alpha pack. She said that as long as he helps her kill them she won't sacrifice the guardians, but I doubt she is going abide by her words, she is power-hungry creature now. Boyd and Isaac went with Derek too." I said.
We have little time and during this short period we needs to take care of the alpha pack, save Scott's, Stiles' and Allison's parents and rescue Laura.
