Even looking at the imperius curse and the dark mark, Hansen had a new idea. Hansen remembered that in the novel Harry Potter that he read in his previous life , after Voldemort's downfall many of the death eaters escaped the sanctions of law by claiming that everything they did was because they were being controlled by the Imperius curse. While some of them were lying it was not entirely false. As some people were really controlled by the Imperius spell to become a death eater.
This is what gave Hansen an inspiration. Recently Hansen had been in a dilemma about which faction or academy to join for the upcoming Advanced Soul Master Tournament and even for the future.
But now Hansen had a brand new option. That is to make his own faction. But the biggest problem in establishment of a faction is the loyality of it's members and adhesion between them.That's why most of the sects on the mainland are based on family as the basis. But even then there are no perfect models at all, each having it's own cons . It's also one the reasons why Hansen had not even considered this option. Besides it was extremely difficult to attract people to join your faction and managing them later on is also a hassle .
But now with the help of these dark magic spells Hansen felt that it can be done. And since loyalty wasn't a problem for him Hansen only needed to amass a large number of followers irrespective of their character. Coupled with function of doubling the branded person's cultivation speed also solved the problem of lack of resources.
"Hmmm, I should put it on my agenda. But I have to take precautions about not being discovered otherwise it won't take long for me to be labelled as an evil soul master . And since currently I can't target anyone belonging to the Soul Hall, two Empires and other major sects there is only one place left where I can find lots of powerful soul masters who have no connection to the existing powers on mainland. "
Yes, the place Hansen chose as his target was none other than the Slaughter City.
Slaughter City is a place where there are no laws. It is a place where murder, rape, stealing and all sorts of criminal activities occur. As long as you have the ability, you can do what ever you want. In the city all spirit master abilities are ineffective. To survive one must use their own physical strength and instinct. Spirit power can be used as a source of strength.
As a matter of fact , Hansen was originally going to visit the slaughter City later on but now the time to go there had to be advanced .
If he remembered correctly Slaughter City was created thousands of years ago by a soul master who had broken through the 100th rank, and ascended to divine realm as Asura God. He created the city to provide a chance of soul masters to get innate domain ability, called "Deathgod Domain", which is first step for inheritance his godly seat in the divine realm.This was also Hansen's target originally.
But, this purpose was corrupted by another soul master, whom together with him, advanced to the divine realm, Rakshasa God.
This is revealed by Tang Chen, the first successor of Asura God in the original novel. His soul was invaded by Bat King's soul after he killed it when was doing 8th trial of inheritance, mastering Asura Demonic Sword, a Ultra Divine Tool. The Bat King wasn't supposed to be in the inheritance process in the first place, but Rakshasa God made it to ensure that there will be never a successor for Asura God. This hatred is due to position of Asura God as God Law Enforcer in divine realm after ascended as a god. After Tang Chen's consciousness is fully controlled by the Bat King, the city lost its main purpose and became the current slaughter city, which is fulfilled by immoral behavior.
However now Hansen can conveniently use it to his advantage as his personal recruiting camp.
"And although I am not a good person but still enslaving those people won't give me any burden or guilt . "
But soon Hansen thought of another problem. Even if it's him it would take him a long time to escape the Slaughter City. But the Advanced Soul Master Tournament will start in about seven to eight months more and he can't be sure to return back in this period of time . Besides he can't leave Zhuqing alone for so long so he had to take her with him. But even with him by her side she is not strong enough yet .
"Anyway lets think about it later. I have been here for a few days already. I should leave here first, Zhuqing must be worried about me. "
After Hansen thought till here he prepared to return back to the surface and directly apparated by the side of the Ice and Fire Well.
But the moment Hansen appeared on the surface , he felt a terrifying aura coming from one place in the Ice and Fire well. What made him even more nervous is that it was currently approaching him at a very fast speed.
"Oh no, Dugu Bo is here. I got careless. It's already been some time since Dugu Bo last came here. I should have taken this into consideration and be vigilant about this. "
Next Hansen didn't even have time to get dressed and directly after retrieving his storage soul guide he apparated back to the hotel room.
Meanwhile Dugu Bo also arrived here just in time to see a naked figure suddenly disappearing out of thin air.
"Damn it, he must be the thief who destroyed my garden. Don't let me catch you otherwise..... Hmph. "
