They were still in their human form, while the person leading them were people that Cane had expected. 

It was alpha Gallot and alpha Nolan. The two alphas marched their own warriors here. Behind the two alphas, there was a fancy carriage. No one knew, who was inside there, but Cane assumed it would be lady Cyan or Decratic himself.
