His nose was in the air and he was stuck to the wall. There were five men in this room, one in the parking lot. He could smell Alex's faint but unmistakable scent, as well as a few men in the back room.
He needed to get in the back and preferably pull those guys out so he could save him from being shot.
Richard crouched under the tables and walked on his stomach. He sneaked behind a man and quickly knocked him down without making a sound. The strong jaws surrounding the man's throat meant he didn't even have time to scream before he died.
Richard was relieved that there were no girls dancing on poles. He hated to involve the innocent in this. He would never forgive himself if someone unrelated to this dark business was hurt.
He slid under a table to go to the next man. The remaining four turned around and noticed that their friend had disappeared. Richard held his breath, waited for them to turn again, then jumped on him.
