Three days have passed since Yuan, his wives, and all the participants of the expedition emerged from the forest. In those three days, they've covered half the distance to the capital city of the kingdom.

It will take them three more days to reach the capital. Currently, they are traveling in their carriages, moving swiftly toward the city, crossing huge mountains and forests.

Inside the luxurious carriage, King Richard and his son Tristan sat on the plush seats, peeking through the small window.

Prince Tristan turned to his father with a curious look in his eyes and asked, "Father, have you sent the letter to my mother and my two stepmothers? We're only three days away from the capital."

"No, I haven't," King Richard replied, shaking his head with an awkward expression. He sighed. "I was thinking about sending a letter to inform them of our success, but I was too exhausted and forgot."
