บท 2: Chapter 1: Restart
"Momonga san, are you still listening?", a voice that was nostalgic rang into Ainz's ear, slowing letting him be aware of his surroundings. As Ainz opened his eyes, he saw Hero-Hero sitting with him and talking to him. Ainz realized that the spell had transported him back to the start of his journey, the final day in YGGDRASIL, before transporting to the New World.
Looking at Hero Hero, the scene where his guildmates betrayed him played in his mind and he felt the need to chase him out. Even though Ainz is in Yggdrasil right now, he is still disconnected to his original world and has become an in-game character. "Leave now, I do not want to see you traitors that never show up for years!" Ainz exclaimed in a rage. Hero Hero tried amending things but gave up ultimately and just logged out of the game.
After which, Ainz immediately transported himself to the throne room and saw Albedo standing beside the throne, smiling and having the NPC posture. The feelings within Ainz welled up in an instant and he dashed to Albedo, apologizing that he had let her down. However, Albedo just stood there waiting for specific in game commands and didnt react to anything Ainz did. To his surprise, when he opened Albedo's setting, she suddenly came to life! "Ainz sama !!! Are you hurt?!! How are you feeling!? I WILL KILL THOSE SCUM OF A SUPREME BEING FOR HURTING MY BELOVED LORD AINZ!!" That was the first thing she did when she was able to move independently. Without even thinking, Ainz hugged her, literally hugged her like his life depended on it. "I'm sorry that I let you get hurt and did not take your advice previously, from now on, stay by my side everywhere I go ." Albedo was ecstatic from the head down but simply hugged him back even tighter, signaling that it was not his fault and she feels the same way. They enjoyed the warm embrace for a while before Ainz got up and said "Now we know who is our greatest threat and where they are located, we should eliminate them the first thing we get transported to the New World. Looking at how we still have an hour before the transportation, lets change my race to a more suitable race with a body that has flesh." Albedo instantly knew what Ainz meant and blushed while maintaining her overseer image.
"Its now or never" thought Ainz as he fully utilized his current situation. Being back at Yggdrasil, he has the best option to change races before transporting to the new world. This is to avoid any meaningless confusions when the other NPCs regain consciousness so now is the best time to change races and the NPCs will just take it at face value. Being a player, he has access to the game functions as per normal players do and he simply changed his race into a demon mage, putting his remaining job levels into the ruler of the underworld. His new appearance awes Albedo and even got her more excited to the endless future but she knows that first and foremost, eliminating those scum of a supreme being is the most important, her creator Tabula included. She vows to pay them back a hundredfold in endless torture and death, not even sparing a thought for her creator! Until then, everything is put on hold. She was filled with rage and resentment when she saw her creator and another supreme being backstabbing her beloved. This only solidified her view on Ainz being the sole master of Nazarick. Ainz always knew that Albedo have some kind of resentment towards the other supreme beings a while back and seeing her rushing to his side when her creator was present in the floating castle really touched his undead heart and made him focus on the important people in his life. No more of spreading the guild name to search for those pathetic traitors! Now Ainz fully intends to dominate and purge the world into darkness however he sees fit once all obstacles are taken care of.
"Albedo, I will now lay out the agenda on what we will be doing the first thing we get transported to the New world. We will bring Pandora Actor along with us and deal with those traitors and wipe the dragon lord in the floating castle. After that, since we know what the future holds, let us slowly play around with those lower lifeforms and let them have a taste of sweet revenge!Before departing, ask Demiurge to put Nazarick on the highest level of defense, now lets go to the treasury and get equipped with suitable world items." Ainz scooped Albedo up bridal style and teleported to the treasury.
